As expected, the Kansas City Chiefs officially promoted Matt Nagy to offensive coordinator on Friday. The move comes after former offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy left the team to become the Washington Commanders' new offensive coordinator/assistant head coach. Nagy is being elevated from his previous role as senior offensive assistant/quarterbacks coach, and he was previously the team's OC from 2016-17 before spending four years as the Chicago Bears' head coach. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid will continue calling the offensive plays in Kansas City as they defend their Super Bowl championship in 2023, but Nagy will be heavily involved in game-planning on a week-to-week basis.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
