Carlos Hyde Dealing With Calf Issue
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Carlos Hyde (calf) was just a limited practice participant on Wednesday. It's a new injury for Hyde, but it doesn't seem serious enough to keep him out this upcoming weekend against the Buffalo Bills. And with lead back James Robinson (heel) questionable to play after suffering an injury in Week 8, Hyde could be in line for an expanded role in Week 9. Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo, who was claimed off waivers from the New Orleans Saints on Tuesday, are the only other running backs on Jacksonville's active roster. Hyde hasn't seen more than nine carries in a game this year and is averaging 4.2 yards per carry. He'd be a touchdown-dependent RB3/flex with a low ceiling if Robinson is inactive this weekend against Buffalo.
