Browns Place Tender On KhaDarel Hodge
4 years agoThe Cleveland Browns placed a tender on restricted free-agent wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge on Monday. Hodge had a career-high 11 catches for 180 yards in his second season with Cleveland in 2020. He also continued to serve as one of the team's most valuable special teams players. Hodge spent some time on the COVID-19 list and was limited to nine total games because of multiple hamstring injuries. The 26-year-old is expected to make around $2.18 million in 2021 and will continue to serve as a special-teamer and wide receiver depth. There's a chance he could see an expanded role this year if the team moves on from Odell Beckham Jr. Rashard Higgins is also a free agent, so Hodge could see more playing time behind Jarvis Landry and Donovan Peoples-Jones.
