Brendan Rodgers Injures His Shoulder Tuesday
2 years agoColorado Rockies second baseman Brendan Rodgers (shoulder) left the team's Cactus League game early on Tuesday against the Texas Rangers due to a shoulder injury. Manager Bud Black said they had to pop Rodgers' shoulder back into place. It sounds like a dislocated shoulder for the 26-year-old, but we should know more in the coming days as to how much time Rodgers may have to miss in camp. The good news is it's still pretty early in spring training, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be ready for Opening Day. Injuries have kept him from reaching his true potential, and Rodgers continues to be a frustrating fantasy player with extreme home/road splits. One thing is for sure: Nobody should be reaching for Rodgers in drafts.
