Brayan Rocchio Out On Wednesday, Could Spend More Time On Bench
Brayan Rocchio is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the division-rival Minnesota Twins, and manager Stephen Vogt said that both Gabriel Arias and Daniel Schneemann have been playing better. It means that Rocchio could find himself on the bench more often than not moving forward after starting the year hitting .205 (15-for-73) with no home runs, six RBI and seven runs scored. It's the second straight day that the 24-year-old has been on the bench after going 0-for-4 on Monday. Schneemann is at second base and batting seventh on Wednesday, with Arias at short and batting sixth against Twins right-hander Pablo Lopez. The 25-year-old Arias has been much better offensively with a .270/.313/.472 slash line, four homers, 11 RBI and 14 runs in 89 at-bats. Rocchio is quickly losing fantasy value in AL-only leagues.
