3 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield (foot, shoulder) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday, but he said his foot injury "is nothing major by any means." It appears the Browns were just giving Mayfield a little bit of a rest day on Wednesday to start the practice week. The 26-year-old's left shoulder injury remains the much bigger concern, and he completed a season-low 14 passes on a season-low-tying 21 attempts in the Week 9 blowout win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Mayfield has barely topped 200 yards passing in the last two weeks and has only two 300-yard games and eight touchdown passes in eight games in this low-volume passing attack. He'll remain a low-upside, low-end QB2 against the New England Patriots this Sunday and will likely be without starting running back Nick Chubb due to COVID-19.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
