Los Angeles Kings center Anze Kopitar tallied three helpers during their 8-1 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Sunday evening. Kopitar tallied his first helper with the primary assist on Adrian Kempe's power-play goal in the opening frame. In the second, Kopitar would tally the primary helper on Trevor Moore's 16th goal of the season. Then in the final period, Kopitar would tally his third helper of the night, this time on Andrei Kuzmenko's ninth of the campaign. Over his previous six contests, Kopitar has begun to turn the corner offensively as he has scored two goals and added five helpers. Before this recent surge, he tallied just five points (two goals) over his last eight. The 37-year-old will look to stay hot on Tuesday when the Kings host the Winnipeg Jets.--Andy Smith
