Antonio Senzatela Posts Best Outing In Months
5 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Antonio Senzatela threw six innings of one-run ball on Wednesday to nail down the win, giving him his first win since July. It was also his first quality start since June. Senzatela was sent down in July after getting destroyed in three straight starts, but he had also been rocked in his first three starts since returning in late August. Facing the first-place Cardinals in Coors, he would have only been started by the most desperate of owners, but he turned in a beautiful outing where he only allowed four hits and struck out five. Owners shouldn't believe the one good outing. He is still only someone the truly desperate should court.
