Antonio Brown Gets Through First Padded Practice Unscathed
Antonio Brown wrapped up his first practice wearing pads Tuesday without any setbacks. The 31-year-old began training camp on the non-football injury list, but was quickly activated after two days. The Silver and Black likely won’t overwork their new stud acquisition too much in the preseason, and it’s unlikely he’ll appear in any games before the regular season kicks off. It’ll be interesting to see how well Brown meshes with new quarterback Derek Carr this season, but the seven-time Pro Bowler should eat up enough targets to produce as a WR1 once again.
