Anthony Rendon Doubles In Run Against Seattle
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon went 2-for-5 with one run scored and one RBI in the Angels 9-5 loss to the Mariners on Sunday. Rendon ripped a double to plate teammate Justin Upton in the ninth but it was too little too late. The veteran slugger, however, has shown promising signs of coming out of his early season slump. Over his last five games, Rendon is 8-for-22 (.363) with three doubles and eight runs batted in. It was only a matter of time before the All-Star improved upon his current .347 slugging percentage. If he can stay healthy, Rendon should help out fantasy rosters in all formats in the weeks ahead.
