The Arizona Diamondbacks have signed right-hander Anthony DeSclafani to a one-year deal on Sunday. DeSclafani recently opted out of his deal with the New York Yankees earlier in the week. The 35-year-old has quickly found a new home after making five starts in Triple-A with the Yankees organization. DeSclafani last pitched in the MLB in 2023 with the San Francisco Giants. He posted a 4.88 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and 79/20 K/BB ratio across 19 appearances (18 starts) with the Giants in 2023. DeSclafani has a 4.20 ERA across 180 big league outings in his nine-year career. It's unlikely that DeSclafani will be a big difference maker, but at worst he's decent organizational depth.--Andy Webb
