The Washington Football Team has activated quarterback Alex Smith (leg) from the PUP list and he has been cleared for football activities. Smith suffered a gruesome injury in November 2018, fracturing multiple bones in his right leg. His first surgery on the leg led to him developing life-threatening necrotizing fasciitis, which in turn led to numerous additional surgeries and a lengthy recovery process. The fact that he's made it all the way back is simply remarkable. Dwayne Haskins and Kyle Allen figure to be the team's top two quarterbacks to enter the year, with Smith as the third-string signal caller.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
