7 years agoBoston Celtics power forward/center Al Horford had his hands full with 76ers center Joel Embiid (26 points, 16 rebounds) on Thursday. Horford had a relatively quiet night, scoring a modest 14 points on 5-for-11 shooting with one three-pointer. He added an underwhelming three rebounds and three assists to go along with some serviceable defensive stats (one steal, two blocks). Big Al was without his All-Star offensive anchor Kyrie Irving (shoulder) in this one and isn't typically a centerpiece for any offense. Look for him to be better against the Magic on Sunday.--Matthew Thomas
