Tampa Bay Rays outfield prospect Aidan Smith continued his recent surge at the plate on Tuesday in a contest against High-A Greenville. During this game, Smith went 2-for-4 with a home run and two stolen bases. Over his last eight games, Smith has been one of the most productive hitters at the High-A level, posting an impressive .345/.406/.483 slash line with one double, one home run, and seven stolen bases. However, before this recent surge at the plate, the fifth-ranked prospect in the system held a modest .161 avrage with a .493 OPS over his last 15 games with High-A Bowling Green. Fantasy managers should expect Smith to remain with High-A during the final weeks of the season given his inconsistent play.
