4 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles added catcher Adley Rutschman, Keegan Akin, Michael Baumann, Issac Mattson, Cedric Mullins and Taylor Davis to their 60-man player pool on Friday, according to manager Brandon Hyde. The team's No. 3 prospect, DL Hall, is another candidate to join the player pool soon. Per MLB Pipeline, Rutschman is the club's top prospect, with Baumann coming in at No. 8 and Akin at No. 11. None of these young players are likely to see time with the O's at the major league level in 2020, especially with just 60 games on the schedule. Rutschman, the No. 1 overall pick in 2019, is a switch-hitting catcher with plus tools across the board.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
