NFL Pick 'Em Pool Picks (Week 6) - Targets, Avoids, Predictions for Pick'em Contests (2025)

Daniel Jones - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

The top NFL Pick'em pool picks for Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season. Kyle's weekly NFL Pick'em pool targets, avoids, and predictions to help win pick'em contests.

Welcome back to our NFL Pick'em Pool Picks for Week 6 of the 2025 NFL season. Week 5 was a fun one for NFL fans if you enjoy comeback victories, total randomness, and league-wide parity once again. Every team now has a blemish. No more unbeaten teams and only one winless team, the New York Jets.

As we move past the quarter mark of the 2025 season, Week 6 features several projected shootouts, with four games carrying an over/under of at least 49.5 points (DAL @ CAR, DET @ KC, BUF @ ATL, CHI @ WAS). So the three primetime games this week, Sunday Night Football and the Monday Night Football doubleheader, are all expected to feature plenty of fireworks. In Weeks 1-5 combined, there were only seven games with a total that high.

Every week of the 2025 NFL season, I'll lock in my picks for each game and rank them based on my confidence level in the selection. The games will be grouped into locks, semi-confident picks, and toss-ups. The number listed next to the game shows my confidence level, counting down to my least confident pick. As always, we'll dive into some traditional and advanced stats as well as historical trends on each side to find matchup advantages. Let's get to the picks for Week 6.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Week 6 NFL Pick'em Pool Locks

The number listed next to the game shows my confidence level, counting down to my least-confident pick. The higher the number, the better. The projected winners are italicized.

15 - Green Bay vs. Cincinnati

Cincinnati has become a mainstay in the top spot here sans Burrow. However, the last time we had Green Bay here, they laid an egg against Cleveland. But off a bye and at Lambeau Field against what reports to be Joe Flacco as the starter for Cincinnati. He got traded, in case anyone missed the news.

14 - Denver vs. New York Jets

Bo Nix vs. Justin Fields in London. Denver had one of the statement wins of the season, going into Philadelphia and knocking off the undefeated Eagles. On the other side, the Jets got brutalized by the Cowboys and remain the only winless team. It likely won't be a pretty game for Fields against this vaunted Denver defense.

13 - Philadelphia at New York Giants

The Eagles finally got knocked off after a somewhat fraudulent 4-0 start to the season. Perhaps this will push them to acknowledge the issues with their offense and find a solution. And the Jaxson Dart experience lost some of its shine as the Giants went into New Orleans and turned the ball over five times in a 26-14 loss. The Eagles should take care of business, but things could get interesting on Thursday Night Football, as they typically do with NFC East matchups.

12 - Los Angeles Rams at Baltimore

The Rams are coming off a disappointing home loss against a shorthanded 49ers team and now head on the road to face a Baltimore team that is reeling. Without Lamar Jackson, the Ravens look pretty hopeless. The defense has been a total trainwreck, ranking 30th in EPA/Play. The Rams should be expected to bounce back.

11 - Indianapolis vs. Arizona

Indianapolis looks like one of the best teams in football. Arizona, on the other hand, has not run the cleanest operation, to say the least. They are on the heels of a pretty embarrassing home loss to the lowly Titans, and now Kyler Murray missed Wednesday's practice with a foot injury. The Colts should roll.

Semi-Confident Picks For Week 6 Pick 'Em Pools

10 - Los Angeles Chargers at Miami

After getting out to a quick 10-0 start and looking like they were going to cruise to victory, the Chargers gave up 27 unanswered points to Washington to drop their second straight game. And Miami blew a big lead themselves as well, losing 27-24 after being up 17-0. In addition, it's a duel between the No. 5 and No. 6 picks in the 2020 NFL draft, in Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert. The Chargers have a ton of injuries, but are the better team.

9 - Dallas at Carolina

Carolina has, at times, looked like the worst team in football. But they've managed to get to a 2-3 record, and Bryce Young showed some good things in their comeback victory in Week 5. But Dallas just rolled through the Jets and looks potent offensively. The defense is bad, which is why this game has one of the highest totals of the week.

8 - Buffalo at Atlanta

Buffalo followed Philadelphia’s lead as the final two unbeaten teams in the NFL, as both teams at home to a young, up-and-coming AFC squad led by a first-round quarterback from the potentially generational 2024 draft class. Speaking of that draft class, Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr. is coming off the best game of his young career before his Week 5 bye, completing 20 of 26 passes for 313 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in a 34-27 win over Washington. Buffalo still feels like one of the best teams in the league, even with a 1 now in the loss column.

7 - New England at New Orleans

Drake Maye had the statement win of his young career in Week 5, knocking off the undefeated Bills on the road in his first primetime game. Now, they have to do what is perhaps the biggest challenge for some NFL teams, which is to do it again the next week. That won't be too easy, as the Saints have some momentum after getting their first win of the season against the Giants. But we have faith in the quarterback for New England to get it done.

6 - Washington vs. Chicago

The rematch between the No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks in the 2024 NFL Draft. The most memorable end to a game of the 2024 NFL season with the Fail Mary or Hail Maryland, whichever you prefer. It will be a storyline all week heading into Monday night.

Jayden Daniels returned to the field in Week 5 after missing two weeks, and he didn't miss a beat. The Bears are fresh off of a bye and have had plenty of time to prepare for this highly anticipated matchup.

NFL Pick 'Em Toss-Ups Of Week 6

5 - Las Vegas vs. Tennessee

A battle between two 1-4 teams that are both bottom five in the league in total points scored on the season. The Raiders got crushed 40-6 by the Colts last week. Geno Smith has looked bad this year. Their offensive line has been very disappointing, and rookie RB Ashton Jeanty is often ineffective because of it. Tennessee, on the other hand, won in a pretty fluky fashion in Week 5 against Arizona for their first win. Flip a coin and throw this game on a side screen in the late afternoon slate.

4 - Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland

This Cleveland defense against this version of Aaron Rodgers could be a bit dangerous. However, it's worth acknowledging that the Browns are in the midst of a pretty unfortunate scheduling issue. Playing in London in Week 5, the Browns now travel again to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers, fresh off a bye week.

3 - Tampa Bay vs. San Francisco

San Francisco will likely have to air the ball out again against a pass-funnel Tampa Bay defense. Mac Jones threw 49 passes in their Week 5 OT win against the Rams, the third most of his career. It was the highest pass rate over expected game of the season for San Francisco at +5.3%. Both teams are beat up, but Baker Mayfield and the Bucs have been rolling offensively and should take care of business against a hurt 49ers team.

2 - Seattle at Jacksonville

The Seahawks are 4-1 for the first time since 2020, led by Sam Darnold, who is playing QB as good as anyone in the league. And the Jaguars are 4-1 for the first time since 2007. Trevor Lawrence might have turned a corner in the Jaguars' 31-28 comeback win in Week 5 against the Chiefs. This should be a fun one.

1 - Detroit at Kansas City

We end with a beauty on Sunday Night Football. A rematch of the 2023 season opener, where the Lions asserted themselves as legitimate threats with a statement win at Arrowhead. After getting beaten up at Green Bay in Week 1, they haven't looked back and look like the most complete team in football. The Chiefs, meanwhile, are 2-3 and need a win to not fall too far behind.
