NASCAR Practice Speeds, Lap Averages, and Notes for Phoenix (2026)

Daniel Suarez - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR

NASCAR practice speeds, lap averages and notes for the 2026 Straight Talk Wireless 500 at Phoenix Raceway. Use the NASCAR stats and data to build DFS lineups on DraftKings. Daniel Suarez was fastest.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at Phoenix Raceway on Saturday afternoon in preparation for the upcoming Straight Talk Wireless 500 on Sunday afternoon.

The 37-car field was split into two groups for practice.

Below you will find the two groups, key notes from the practice session, as well as the practice speeds for all drivers.

Important Practice Notes

Tyler Reddick - Late in the practice session, Tyler Reddick ended up spinning out but didn't hit anything. No major issues to report here.

Roush-Fenway Keselowski Racing - About 10 minutes into practice, Chris Buescher had a flat tire. Later in the practice session, Brad Keselowski also had a flat tire. The damage Keselowski sustained from his flat tire caused him to skip qualifying and will force him to go to a backup car.

Riley Herbst - Another victim of a flat tire was Riley Herbst, who also got into the wall. He ended up qualifying his car, so the damage wasn't too bad.

Anthony Alfredo - Alex Bowman is out this week due to vertigo symptoms. Anthony Alfredo is stepping into the No. 48 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports as the replacement driver.
