As always, my goal with this article is to help you identify viable options to insert into your DraftKings lineups, based on pricing and matchups data. Here's a compilation of players I like when choosing a lineup for Tuesday, July 28th.

Offenses to Target for DraftKings Stacking

New York Yankees RHB vs Martin Perez

As right-handed batters, the New York Yankees hold a top five offense against left-handed pitching, with a wRC+ of 119. This is a great matchup on Tuesday against opposing pitcher Martin Perez. Perez recently returned from the disabled list and is not fully up to par with his control yet. In two games pitched, he holds a WHIP of 1.91. Righties own 14 of the 15 hits charged against Perez, who has faced 34 righties and 10 lefties. Look for power bats in the Yankees lineup such as Alex Rodriguez to have plenty of RBI opportunities on Tuesday.

San Francisco Giants LHB vs Wily Peralta

As left-handed batters, the San Francisco Giants hold a top five offense against right-handed pitching, with a wRC+ of 118. There should be plenty of opportunities to get on base on Tuesday against opposing pitcher Wily Peralta. Peralta has not pitched since May and will very likely have some rust heading into Tuesday. Even when he was healthy, Peralta proved to be ineffective on the mound. He holds a 4.00 ERA with a 1.43 WHIP. Brandon Crawford and Brandon Belt look like great infield value picks.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for DraftKings

Noah Syndergaard (SP, NYM) - $10700

Noah Syndergaard is hitting his stride. Syndergaard has only given up one run in four of his last five starts, and he now holds a 2.97 ERA with 1.14 WHIP. He is striking out over one batter per inning and has limited walks for the most part. Syndergaard should definitely be able to continue his success on the mound on Tuesday against the San Diego Padres. The Padres hold a bottom five offense against right-handed pitching, with a wRC+ of 87.

Wade Miley (SP, BOS) - $6400

Wade Miley serves as an excellent bargain pick for your secondary starting pitcher. Miley is mediocre. He has some nice games and some bad games, depending on the matchup. He heads into Tuesday on a mini-hot streak after two nice performances against the Astros and the Angels. Miley should be a great pick against the Chicago White Sox. It’s always advisory to start decent lefties against the White Sox, as they are the worst team in the league against left-handed pitching. As a team, the White Sox holds a wRC+ of 58 against left-handed pitching.

DFS Infielders to Consider for DraftKings

Buster Posey (C, SF) - $4400

Buster Posey looks to be the prime option in the catcher pool on Tuesday at home. He is hitting .438 in the month of July. He has also dominated right-handed pitching with a wOBA of .395. Posey has had some success in a small sample pool against opposing pitcher Wily Peralta. Peralta’s struggles were already mentioned earlier, and Posey is 5 for 9 against Peralta in his career.

Paul Goldschmidt (1B, ARI) - $5000

Paul Goldschmidt’s price has dipped since his hot streaks earlier this month and last month. However, he remains the prime target at first base. Goldschmidt heads into Tuesday's with a nine game hitting streak. He holds a wRC+ of 175 against right-handed pitching. With this in mind, Goldschmidt should be a nice pick against opposing pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma in Seattle.

Martin Prado (2B, MIA) - $2800

Martin Prado is a reach into the bargain bin for Tuesday’s slate of games. Prado has provided consistent value at second base, and should be a great pick if you’ve spent heavily elsewhere. Prado is a career 9 for 23 against opposing pitcher Jordan Zimmerman. Zimmerman has also struggled a bit in his past few outings. Zimmerman’s lack of strikeouts make Prado a very nice sleeper candidate at home on Tuesday.

Alex Rodriguez (3B, NYY) - $5200

Alex Rodriguez should be well worth the price tag on Tuesday at the Rangers. As mentioned earlier, he is a great play against the struggling Martin Perez. Rodriguez has also hit four home runs in his last two games. Rodriguez has crushed opposing left-handed pitching this year with a wRC+ of 174. With eight total home runs in the month of July, Rodriguez has established himself as one of the more reliable third baseman available on DraftKings.

Ian Desmond (SS, WAS) - $3400

Ian Desmond has looked amazing at the plate in the past week. He is 10 for his last 23, with four home runs over that seven game span. Desmond’s current price tag has yet to catch up with this improved production. With this power surge from Desmond, he can provide incredible value at the shallow shortstop position. Desmond will have a tough matchup on the road against opposing pitcher Jose Fernandez. However, there aren’t too many great options at shortstop anyway, so his power potential remains his best asset.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for DraftKings

Carlos Gonzalez (OF, COL) - $4400

Carlos Gonzalez looks to be a great pick as your primary or secondary outfielder. Gonzalez has been on fire at the plate as of late. He is 14 for his last 26, including three multi-home run games. Gonzalez has hit right-handed pitching extremely well this year, holding a wRC+ of 144, and he should be a great play on the road against opposing pitcher Dallas Beeler. Beeler is the Cubs’ spot starter and has only pitched seven total innings this year. He holds a 6.43 ERA with a 2.00 WHIP through two games.

Matt Holliday (OF, STL) - $4300

Matt Holliday should provide great value at home as your secondary outfielder for Tuesday. Holliday has been consistent at the plate. He has hit right-handed pitching very well this year, holding a wOBA of .366. His power numbers have been down this year, but he does have some nice career numbers against opposing pitcher Mike Leake. Holliday is a lifetime 15 for 39 with a home run against Leake.

Corey Dickerson (OF, COL) - $3400

Corey Dickerson is another Rockie outfielder who should be a nice play against opposing pitcher Dallas Beeler. Dickerson provides incredible value as your tertiary outfielder, and has definitely performed well when he has been healthy this year. He is 5 for 12 since returning from his DL stint, and just received an off day on Sunday. Just to be sure, check his status before the game tomorrow. His hitting certainly doesn’t take dips despite his foot injury, and he holds a wRC+ of 121 against right-handed pitching on the year.
