MLB DFS Lineup Picks and Sleepers - DraftKings Advice for 9/11/15

What's up RotoBallers. Welcome to another edition of my DraftKings DFS lineup picks and analysis. As always, my goal with this article is to help you identify viable options to insert into your DraftKings lineups, based on DFS pricing and matchups data. Here's a compilation of players I like when choosing a lineup for Friday, September 11th.

Editor's Note: If you play on DraftKings, you should check out our Partner FanDuel - they're hosting a one-day Fantasy Baseball league tonight. It's just $5 to enter and pays out $50,000 in cash prizes, including 5K to 1st place!

Sign up Now and we'll give you free access to RotoBaller's Premium NFL Preseason + Full Season Pass (Includes DFS Lineup Picks), a $99.99 monthly value. Offenses to Target for DraftKings Stacking

Washington Nationals Middle of the Lineup vs Brad Hand

As a team, the Washington Nationals hold a top ten offense against left-handed pitching, with a wRC+ of 102. Friday should be a great matchup for the team as they face opposing pitcher Brad Hand. Hand has been terrible as of late, giving up 12 earned runs over his last 6.1 innings of work. Bryce Harper has been very hot as of late, while Anthony Rendon looks to be a quality value pick.

Texas Rangers LHB vs Jesse Chavez

As left-handed batters, the Texas Rangers hold a top five offense against right-handed pitching, with a wRC+ of 115. Rougned Odor and Prince Fielder both look to be great picks for your infield as they face opposing pitcher Jesse Chavez. Chavez has struggled with his consistency and holds a 5.72 ERA since the All Star Break.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for DraftKings

Dallas Keuchel (SP, HOU) - $13400

The beard has some absolutely dominant as of late and is well worth the price tag on Friday, while the other aces on the mound face some tougher offenses. Dallas Keuchel should have a great performance against the Los Angeles Angels who hold a bottom ten offense against left-handed pitching with a wRC+ of 85.

Ervin Santana (SP, MIN) - $6500

Ervin Santana makes for a great bargain pick as your secondary pitcher against the Chicago White Sox who hold a bottom ten offense against right-handed pitching with a wRC+ of 93. Santana has been great in his past two outings, showcasing a strikeout rate and consistency reminiscent of his younger days. He might be a hit or miss option, but he could pay huge dividends if you are entering a larger competition pool on DraftKings.

DFS Infielders to Consider for DraftKings

Buster Posey (C, SF) - $3900

Buster Posey looks like a great pick against opposing pitcher Andrew Cashner at home. Posey has hit right-handed pitching very well this season, holding a wOBA of .370. He has also dominated Cashner in his career, going 10 for 20 with two home runs. Posey rested on Wednesday due to concerns over his left ankle. However, given the two days off, he should most likely be ready for Friday. Be sure to still check out the starting lineups ahead of time.

Edwin Encarnacion (1B, TOR) - $4700

Edwin Encarnacion looks to be a must-start against opposing pitcher Ivan Nova on the road. Encarnacion has cooled down as of late, but still provides consistent value and remains a power threat. Encarnacion holds a wRC+ of 144 against right-handed pitching this season, and has dominated Nova in his career. Encarnacion is a lifetime 9 for 25 with 1 home run against Nova, who has also been particularly prone to the long ball as of late.

Editor's Note: Because of the postponement, Luis Severino will be pitching on Friday. Although he's shown to be a better overall pitcher than Nova, Severino is still a righty, and Encarnacion could still be a fine pick.

Jedd Gyorko (2B, SD) - $2800

Jedd Gyorko has had his struggles this season but has really performed well since the All Star Break. Gyorko now becomes a great value pick given his dirt cheap price tag as well as his power potential from the weakest position on DraftKings. Gyorko will face opposing pitcher Jake Peavy on the road. Gyorko has struggled against right-handed pitching this season, with a wRC+ of 85. However, he is definitely a risk worth taking if you have spent heavily elsewhere.

Nolan Arenado (3B, COL) - $4600

Nolan Arenado provides incredible value as he faces opposing pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma on the road. Arenado has been extremely productive as of late, while his price tag has remained completely manageable. On the year, Arenado holds a wRC+ of 138 against right-handed pitching. In September, Arenado has gone 18 for 40 with seven home runs already. When he gets hot, he is one of the safest picks in the game.

Ian Desmond (SS, WAS) - $3400

Ian Desmond should be a great pick against opposing pitcher Brad Hand on the road. Hand’s struggles have already been stated earlier. Desmond on the other hand has actually hit left-handed pitching fairly well this year, holding a wRC+ of 113. Desmond had a terrific August in which he hit .314 with six home runs. He has remained consistent at the plate and should be a great pick at this price tag.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for DraftKings

Ryan Braun (OF, MIL) - $4800

Ryan Braun looks to be a must-start against opposing pitcher Charlie Morton on the road. Braun holds a wRC+ of 119 against right-handed pitching on the year, and has been hitting very well as of late. He is 18 for his last 40, with two home runs and four stolen bases. Lastly, Braun has dominated Charlie Morton in his career, going 8 for 23 with a home run.

Michael Brantley (OF, CLE) - $4500

Michael Brantley makes for a great pick as your secondary outfielder against opposing pitcher Justin Verlander at home. Brantley holds a great wOBA of .394 against right-handed pitching on the year, and has also had a lot of success off of Verlander in his career. Brantley is 18 for 59 against Verlander.

Corey Dickerson (OF, COL) - $3300

Corey Dickerson is back from the DL, and his potential production is far too much to pass up at this price tag. When healthy, Dickerson can be one of the best outfielders in the league. Dickerson will face opposing pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma on the road. He holds a wRC+ of 117 against right-handed pitching on the year.
