The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon in preparation for the upcoming South Point 400 on Sunday afternoon.
The 37-car field was split into two groups for this practice session. Below you'll find the two practice groups, key notes from the practice session and the practice speeds for all drivers.
There were no significant speed differences between Group A and Group B during this practice session, as we sometimes see at other race tracks.

Important Practice Notes
Ryan Blaney - Just a couple of minutes into Group B's practice session, Ryan Blaney blew a left rear tire and hit the wall hard. The No. 12 Team Penske team will get a backup car ready for the race, and will likely not make a qualifying lap.
Group B - With Blaney's issue coming early in the session for Group B, it's worth noting that a lot of those driver's lap averages may seem slower than they actually are, as the red flag for Blaney disrupted the long runs for those drivers.
