BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB2
ANALYSIS: The Arizona Cardinals are all but eliminated from playoff contention, so Kyler Murray's decision to return this season has been very surprising. Perhaps he wants to prove that he's not as lazy as the media unfairly portrays him to be.
Murray has been inconsistent since his return, throwing for 864 yards, three touchdowns, two interceptions, and running for three scores. Since his return in Week 10 to Week 13 (before his bye week), he finished as the overall QB11.

Murray and the Cardinals will face a huge test this week, as they'll take on the San Francisco 49ers. The Niners' defense has been dominant during their current winning streak, as opposing quarterbacks have thrown for four touchdowns and six interceptions against them.
Murray hasn't played against them since Week 5 of the 2021 season, but he does have two good fantasy outings against them on his resume. He finished in the top seven in both of his games against the 49ers as a rookie in 2019. But we all know that the 49ers have changed since their Super Bowl run and might be even better, so Murray should be considered a QB2 in this matchup.
