Khalil Shakir's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Khalil Shakir for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 14+ team leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Second-year Buffalo Bills WR Khalil Shakir has broken out in recent weeks and earned a role in the Bills' starting lineup. Shakir's big coming out party came in Week 8 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The big-play threat caught six passes for 92 yards. That was the first game Shakir played more than 40 snaps.
Since Week 8, Shakir has continued to start and played over 70% of the offensive snaps in each of the past three games while mostly lining up as the slot receiver. He's averaging a healthy 16.5 yards per reception. Last week, he finished as the WR9 as he caught three passes for 115 yards and a touchdown.
Shakir is not a high-volume receiver, limiting his upside in PPR leagues, but he is a viable flex play in Week 12 against an Eagles defense that has allowed 1,931 yards (fifth-most) to opposing WRs.
