Kansas City Chiefs Schedule: 2023 NFL Games, Strength Of Schedule, Fantasy Outlooks

Patrick Mahomes - Fantasy Football Rankings, DFS Lineup Picks, NFL Injury News

What is the Chiefs schedule? View the Kansas City Chiefs schedule for 2023. NFL games, dates, times and strength of schedule analysis for fantasy football.

The Kansas City Chiefs defied the odds by winning their second Super Bowl in four years. While they lost only three games the entire season, they’ve had victories within one possession. Their three postseason wins, including Super Bowl LVII, had a margin of seven points or less.

They’ve had seven victories of six points or less during the regular season. Even their defeats had a total margin of ten points. The close results show that the Chiefs always find a way to win. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce willed their squad to victory by keeping their drives going.

The Chiefs’ offense also got much help from Chris Jones and the Kansas City defense. The target is on their backs now that they are defending champions. Because they are must-see football, their schedule features several marquee matchups.

2023 Chiefs Schedule Analysis for Fantasy Football

NFL Research determined that the Chiefs ranked 16th in strength of schedule based on the records of their opponents last year. However, they do get a lot of primetime matchups against other premier teams and quarterbacks.

They will face Aaron Rodgers and the Jets, Justin Herbert and the Chargers, Josh Allen and the Bills, and Joe Burrow and the Bengals. The Super Bowl LVII rematch is also slated for Week 11 at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs will also have the Dolphins, the Jaguars, and the Vikings on their schedule. Those are three teams that made it to last year’s playoffs. Therefore, their schedule is more challenging than it looks. But as a consolation, they get to play a regular season game in Germany to help the game grow globally.

Kansas City Chiefs Season Record Prediction

The Kansas City Chiefs will finish the 2023 regular season with a 13-4 mark. It remains to be seen, though, if they will win a tiebreaker to claim a first-round bye. But their success also hinges on players not named Mahomes and Kelce.

Establishing the running game will lessen the Chiefs’ predictability on offense. Isiah Pacheco is their projected starter, but he has to share snaps with Jerick McKinnon. Clyde Edwards-Helaire’s resurgence will also help Kansas City’s campaign.

Likewise, they will need Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore to satisfy more prominent roles in the passing game. They must be ready to collect balls when Mahomes throws darts at them.

Finally, their defense must generate constant pressure, especially from other players except for Chris Jones. They hope that Felix Anudike-Uzomah was worth a first-round pick and that George Karlaftis sustains his level of play.
