BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED: 29% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The Patriots appear to be steadily gaining their groove back, and the return of franchise staple Julian Edelman could go a long way in the Pats' attempt to make up ground in the AFC East. Edelman is recovering from knee surgery, and he could be reinstated any week now, having accumulated 21 receptions out of 39 targets for 315 yards receiving, with 22 rushing yards on two carries in the six games he was able to play prior to being sidelined.
We are talking about a guy with 6,822 receiving yards, 7,235 scrimmage yards, and 36 touchdowns with New England since 2009, and totaled a career-high 1,117 receiving yards last season from 100 receptions out of 153 targets and six touchdowns just last season.
Even in missing time, Edelman is still third on the Pats' roster in receiving yards, with the two players behind him being running backs James White and Rex Burkhead, and the two players above him (Jakobi Meyers and Damiere Byrd) being not far ahead with 353 and 337 yards respectively.
With the competition of Meyers and Byrd being far from formidable for a player of Julian Edelman's pedigree, it is worth getting ahead of the competition and picking him up before it is too late.
