Jackson Holliday is a fantasy baseball waiver wire stash for Week 8 (2024). Target Jackson Holliday as a top prospect free-agent waiver wire pickup for fantasy baseball.
BALLER MOVE: Stash in 12+ Team Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: June
ANALYSIS: Alright, it's time to check in on Jackson Holliday in Triple-A. Since returning to Triple-A Norfolk on April 27, Holliday is hitting .264 with a .435 OBP and more walks (16) than strikeouts (14) in 14 games but only has mustered five extra-base hits and one home run. We honestly have no idea when we'll see Holliday swing a bat again in the major leagues. Our initial thought after his immense struggles in his first MLB stint was that Holliday's second stint this season in Triple-A would last for at least a month and we're around halfway there.

Though his recent struggles at the major league level were highly publicized, we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that Holliday is still an elite prospect who is just 20-years-old. Major league pitching can be a shock to the system - even for hitters that have performed well in Triple-A - and Holliday was no different during his stint in the big leagues. There's still a chance that he can help a fantasy team before the season is over and he can be stashed in most league sizes.
