Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk had a career year in his first season outside of Arizona, posting over 1,000 yards as Trevor Lawrence's No. 1 option. He posted a WR12 overall fantasy season in PPR scoring, which made him one of the best values in preseason drafts.
However, the 26-year-old got banged up in the Divisional Round loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, so we have his latest injury update as OTAs kick off.
Is Kirk healthy or injured and what is his 2023 fantasy football outlook? Let's get into it.

Christian Kirk Injury Update For Fantasy Football
Kirk (knee) was on the field taking part in organized team activities on Tuesday. It looks as though Kirk will be just fine for training camp at the end of July after he hurt his knee in the playoffs earlier this year. Obviously, this is a good sign for the Jaguars and fantasy football managers for his 2023 outlook.
As always, these things can change in a hurry and setbacks can happen, so it's important to stay tuned for any new developments.
Christian Kirk 2023 Fantasy Football Outlook
Last season, Kirk posted 84 catches on 133 targets for 1,108 yards and eight touchdowns in 17 regular season games. Now, Calvin Ridley will join the offense, which could be problematic for his fantasy production -- or not.
Lawrence looks poised to enter the elite quarterback conversation and those top-tier QBs can support multiple high-end fantasy pass-catchers. Sure, Kirk's ceiling could be capped as a low-end WR1, but he'll still be very much involved in the offense. There's even a chance Ridley comes back rusty as is far from the 1,300-yard receiver from 2020. Kirk has the edge in familiarity, youth, and recent playing time, so it's too early to declare Ridley the bonafide No. 1 option.
Ultimately, having exposure to all the Jaguars' pass-catchers is likely a good idea for fantasy success in 2023. Ridley is being drafted just ahead of Kirk in early 2023 fantasy drafts. There's an argument to be made that Kirk is the better option at cost in the low-end WR2 range.
