Introducing Weekly Fantasy Sports (WFS) by OwnersBox: The New Wave of Fantasy Sports!

OwnersBox has built a best-in-class Fantasy Sports platform that will provide a superior experience to millions of sports fans in North America.

Today, RotoBaller and OwnersBox are partnering up to bring this new fantasy platform to all of RotoBaller's readers.

We are welcoming the first 10,000 users to the OwnersBox beta program for an exclusive sneak peek - signup now to ensure your spot! OwnersBox's game combines some of the most popular elements of DFS and season-long fantasy, and adds its own twist with never before seen features.

A Brand New Engaging Format

Weekly Fantasy Sports keeps players engaged through live drafting, social interaction, and a new layer of strategy that puts the power back in your hands! No more submitting a lineup and forgetting about it, users will be engaged throughout the entirety of the contest. All of the skill and strategy of Season Long but without the commitment. Compete with your opponent over 7-days of fierce competition and get paid out weekly.

Exclusive Offer for RotoBaller Readers

Go to www.ownersbox.com/beta/rotoballer and sign up for the exclusive beta right now! Each user who signs up will receive 100 OwnersBucks FREE. OwnersBucks can be used to enter contests RISK FREE and will convert to real money as you participate in real-money contests.

How the Game Play Works

  1. Join a Contest: 2-team (1 week), 4-team (2 weeks), 8-team (3 weeks), 16-team (4 weeks)
  2. Draft your Team! Each team gets 10 players and a set amount of “Game Opportunities” per roster position! Pick your players to maximize those game opportunities! For example, in MLB, some players will only play 5 times a week, others 6, and some 7. You'll want to maximize the number of games your players can play.
  3. Manage your lineup! Swap and deactivate/activate players to ensure you’re getting the most out of your team! There are lots of different strategies that can help you pull out the win!
  4. Compete over 7 days - Win and get paid! If it is more than 2 team contest you advance to the next week (tournament bracket style)

Tournament-Style Bracket & Payouts

OwnersBox has created a tournament-style bracket format that pays you out incrementally as you progress through the contest! They don't want users to be restricted by infrequent payouts; on OwnersBox, 25-50% of users win money. This is a huge differentiator, due to the fact that as little as 2% of users win money on traditional DFS platforms.

Unique Control Mechanism

The OwnersBox games provide users with a fun and engaging rule-set that revolves around a set number of "Game Opportunities" by roster position. Your players earn you points throughout the week BUT only if you have enough games available at that position. It is up to you to maximize your game opportunities through add/drops and activating/deactivating players. There are lots of different strategies that can give you the upper hand!

Social & Gamification

OwnersBox is not only here to provide a best in class fantasy platform, they also want to curate a community amongst their users and allow them to engage socially in multiple different ways. You can ddd friends, create groups, and rank up to elevate the trash talk to the next level!

OwnersBox has a chat system that allows you to add friends by the click of a button. Modeled after some of the most popular social media networks, the messenger system goes much deeper than just that! Spin up new contests, start customs groups, and engage with users on a public and private scale. Once in a group, users will be able to track their record directly against their friends in the group, and receive lucrative rewards based off performance.

In addition to the group features, OwnersBox’s one-of-a-kind ranking system is modeled directly after some of the most popular video game franchises. Through the ranking system, users will be able to convert rewards into real money the more they participate and win on the platform.

New Live Drafting Format

The live draft is one of the most engaging aspects of the fantasy sports experience! Today, too many of the major fantasy platforms in the market overlook the significance of the live draft. The OwnersBox live draft format is going to reinvent the game and allow the user to engage like never before. Chat with your friends, dive into advanced stats and analytics, and have more control over your team and the outcome of your contest, all on this one page.

User Branding/Team Customization

At OwnersBox we know the importance of delivering an engaging experience for our users. The weekly game allows users to brand their teams (by sport), which enhances user pride and loyalty. With these branding & customization elements, users have the opportunity to make themselves a household name as they play more on the platform!
