Gameweek 38 Rankings - Fantasy Premier League Predictions, Tips, and Picks for 2023-24

FPL Gameweek 38 rankings, predictions, tips, and picks for Fantasy Premier League lineups. RotoBaller's EPL fantasy Gameweek 38 rankings for the 2023-24 FPL season.

Welcome to Gameweek 38, RotoBallers! This was our third year covering FPL, and we brought you more coverage than ever. We published two weekly articles: a staff roundtable preview and our weekly rankings. Don't forget to stick around for our Euro 2024 coverage starting shortly.

Thirty-seven gameweeks down, one to go. It’s the final countdown, FPL managers. After 10 months of injuries, hauls, and 59th-minute substitutions, we have reached the end of the road. Gameweek 38 is the final push, so don’t be afraid to take a final swing to reach your desired rank!

The Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 38 deadline is 9:30 a.m. EDT on Sunday, May 19, when all 10 games kick off at the same time. Also, look out for the rest of our excellent soccer coverage, as the squad gets you all set for every English Premier League, Major League Soccer, and UEFA Champions League slate from a DFS and betting perspective.

Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 38 Rankings

Our weekly rankings highlight players who could be worth a punt in your Fantasy Premier League squad. While the rankings will be filled with familiar names, a low-owned player with an easy fixture will rise up the one-week charts. For each gameweek, we will provide our top-15 goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. These can also be applied as DFS rankings for your weekend contests.

Double Gameweek 37 Fantasy Premier League High Scorers

  • Goalkeeper: Ederson, Man City - 13 points
  • Defender: Josko Gvardiol, Man City - 27 points
  • Midfielder: Amad Diallo, Man United and Cole Palmer, Chelsea - 14 points
  • Forward: Erling Haaland, Man City - 15 points

FPL Goalkeepers - Gameweek 38 Rankings

  • In Tuesday evening’s clash with Spurs, Ederson suffered an eye injury. However, he came off after 60 minutes and banked two clean sheets during the double Gameweek. If you have a solid outfield, there are far worse options than transferring Ederson out for Stefan Ortega Moreno against West Ham on the final day.

FPL Defenders - Gameweek 38 Rankings

  • If Arsenal keeps a clean sheet on Sunday, you’ll probably want two of its defenders to avoid a rank hit. Considering it also needs to win and score a bunch of goals, all of the defenders are on the table. A clean sheet plus a goal from any of Gabriel, William Saliba, or Ben White will see them end the season with a double-digit haul.

FPL Midfielders - Gameweek 38 Rankings

  • Richarlison (calf) will miss the final weekend of the 2023-24 FPL campaign. This provides Brennan Johnson with a huge jump in his expected minutes for the final day of the season. The Welsh winger was very unfortunate to only come away with seven points in Double Gameweek 37, and he’s still a great differential for Gameweek 38.

FPL Forwards - Gameweek 38 Rankings

  • As Liverpool’s title challenge has faded, Cody Gakpo’s performances have massively improved. The Dutchman has replaced Darwin Nunez in the starting XI and scored 18 points in the last two gameweeks. Jürgen Klopp wants to go out with a win, and I expect him to bring a strong starting lineup on Sunday afternoon that includes Gakpo.
