Quarterback Plays for Fantasy Aces

Andy Dalton (vs. CLE, $6,450)

Dalton has been racking up the passing yards in 2016, ranking third in the league with 1,757 yards. Unfortunately, the touchdowns have not accompanied the gaudy passing numbers as Dalton is only averaging one passing touchdown per game on the year. Look for some positive regression to hit Dalton this weekend. First, the Bengals will take on a Browns secondary that is really struggling to limit opposing passing offenses and may yet again be without its best cornerback, Joe Haden. All-Pro tight end Tyler Eifert may also return to action this weekend, which would be a huge boost for the red zone-challenged Bengals offense. Look for Dalton to hang some crooked numbers on the Browns in a game that is close to a must-win for the 2-4 Bengals if they want to keep their playoff aspirations alive this season.

Marcus Mariota (vs. IND, $6,100)

Mariota has been red hot at the quarterback position, racking up seven touchdowns over the past two weeks. In addition to all the scores, Mariota has started to run more for the Titans as he's accounted for 124 rushing yards over that same span. While he has yet to top 300 passing yards on the year, the rushing bonus he offers more than makes up for that. A prime matchup against a weak Colts pass defense awaits him in Week 7, which bodes well for his fantasy prospects yet again.

Running Back Plays for Fantasy Aces

DeMarco Murray (vs. IND, $5,800)

If you are planning on spending up at the running back position, Murray should be firmly in your crosshairs as you finalize lineups. He checks in as the third-highest priced back on the slate behind David Johnson and Le'Veon Bell, but has just as much upside at a slight discount. The Colts defense, mentioned above for their weak play in the passing game, are actually worse against the run. On the season, Indianapolis ranks last in the league in run defense DVOA according to Football Outsiders. In a game that should be high-scoring, a Marcus Mariota/DeMarco Murray stack would likely get you exposure to all the Titans' touchdowns in one way or another.

Jacquizz Rodgers (@ SF, $4,000)

With Charles Sims on the injured reserve list and Doug Martin suffering a setback this week, Jacquizz Rodgers will operate as the Buccaneers' bell cow for another week. In the same role in Week 5, Rodgers saw 30 carries, turning those into 101 scoreless yards while adding five catches for 28 yards through the air. He gets a 49ers run defense that just coughed up 140 yards and three scores to LeSean McCoy this past weekend. Rodgers is going to be a popular play this week, but at his low prices he is well worth utilizing for lineups.

Wide Receiver Plays for Fantasy Aces

Mike Evans (@ SF, $5,300)

Evans has taken a big step forward this season, catching a touchdown pass in every game he's played except one. That one scoreless game came against a tough Denver secondary, so that can be forgiven. He gets a plus matchup against a 49ers secondary that ranks last in the league against opposing number one receivers according to Football Outsiders. Evans is already seeing an astounding 12 targets per game and if you add in the fact that Vincent Jackson has a knee injury that may keep him out for the year, Evans is in line to see all the targets he can handle on Sunday. Look for Tampa Bay's offense to be in the red zone often this weekend, putting Evans in a great spot to score yet again in Week 7.

Stefon Diggs (@ PHI, $4,850)

It appears likely that Diggs will return to action this weekend for a showdown against the Eagles after missing Week 5's game with a hamstring/groin issue. At this point, it is likely he's off many people's radars as he hasn't done much since his huge Week 2 game against the Packers. Overall, Diggs has taken a big leap forward this season, averaging 8.5 targets, 6.25 catches, and 93.0 yards per game. Sam Bradford will surely be happy to have his top target back and is certainly looking forward to sticking it to his former team.

Tight End Play for Fantasy Aces

Gary Barnidge (@ CIN, $4,300)

It looks likely that Barnidge will be the only reliable pass-catching option in the Browns offense this weekend as Terrelle Pryor has missed Wednesday and Thursday's practice with a hamstring strain. Barring a quick recovery, Barnidge could be in line for a huge workload heading into a Week 7 tilt against the Cincinnati Bengals. Part of Barnidge's struggles this year have been a result of him losing a large chunk of red zone and end zone work to Pryor. With Pryor out, Barnidge should be Cleveland's top option when they get into scoring range.

Defense/Special Teams Play for Fantasy Aces

Denver Broncos (vs. HOU, $3,200)

The Broncos are pricey, as usual, but they are well worth paying up for this week if you have the cap space. A matchup against turnover-prone Brock Osweiler gives the dangerous Denver defense a good deal of upside this weekend. Osweiler has not been impressive in his first season in Houston and the elite Denver defense should give him fits. Expect the Denver coaching staff to be quite familiar with the shortcomings of their former quarterback, which should compound issues for the Texans on Monday night.
