FanDuel NFL DFS Lineup Picks for Week 10 - Daily Fantasy Football

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NFL DFS lineup picks for Week 10 of the 2021 season, and some value sleepers for your daily fantasy football rosters.

What a wild Week 9 it was. With so many players not only failing to meet projections but also falling well below, the scores throughout the DFS community weren't the prettiest by any means. Yet, it was likely a good day for those who turned to James Conner, Jonathan Taylor, Nick Chubb, or Joe Mixon as their preferred options. Additionally, we can't forget about Lamar Jackson or Justin Herbert's contributions, either, while also acknowledging the performance of the returning George Kittle, who had six receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown in his first game since suffering a calf injury back in Week 4. We also saw some wideouts come out of nowhere to make some noise, with Elijah Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus crushing their respective values.

Of course, things have certainly changed since the conclusion of Week 9, with the top story heading toward Sunday being the unfortunate incident involving Dalvin Cook, who is in danger of possibly missing time. Although that may not happen as early as the Vikings meeting against the Los Angeles Chargers, it's certainly a situation fantasy managers want to keep an eye on, mainly if Cook gets suspended. If that's the case, Alexander Mattison will automatically assume the role as the team's top back, and we all know what the 23-year-old is capable of when given a chance.

In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 10 daily fantasy football lineup picks for FanDuel’s “Main Slate.” These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. FanDuel Quarterbacks - Week 10 DFS Lineup Picks

Josh Allen, QB - vs. NYJ ($8,700)

We shouldn't be ready to give up on Allen, who surprisingly performed terribly during the improbable loss to the Jaguars. After he got off to a slow start against the Dolphins in Week 7, many had assumed that the bye would do him some good. However, that's not how things played out, as the former Wyoming Cowboy had one of the worst performances of his career against Jacksonville.

Nonetheless, Allen can help lessen the sting by turning things around against the Jets. Fortunately, he has a good chance, actually an excellent chance, of doing just that against a New York team that has struggled defensively, allowing 130 points combined against the Patriots, Bengals, and Colts over the last three weeks.

Dak Prescott, QB - vs. ATL ($8,100)

Prescott returned last Sunday against the Broncos after dealing with a calf injury that forced him to miss some time. Despite the possibility of being rusty, the veteran was still expected to have his way with the Denver defense. Yet, that didn't happen, and just like in Josh Allen's case, his output was a colossal disappointment. Still, he's allowed a free pass, primarily since he likely wasn't 100 percent, so we can put that disastrous outing behind him and move on to Atlanta.

Prescott stated that he has been working on his footwork during practice throughout the week, which was an issue against the Broncos. With that, he should regain some confidence, especially regarding planting his foot during throws, something he had a problem doing during the loss. To make things even more enticing, Vegas has the Cowboys as one of the top-scoring teams on the slate, so it's more likely than not he will bounce back against the Falcons.

Also Consider: Patrick Mahomes ($8,400), Justin Herbert ($8,000)

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 10 DFS Lineup Picks

James Conner, RB - vs. CAR ($7,000)

Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins didn't suit up for the Week 9 showdown against the 49ers, and it was seemingly a foregone conclusion that the Cardinals would get smoked. Let's face it, Colt McCoy hasn't been the most reliable signal-caller through the years, and while Christian Kirk and Rondale Moore have had their moments of efficiency, not having an MVP candidate or a stud receiver in the lineup isn't ideal.

Yet, Arizona has arguably the best one-two punch out of the backfield in Conner and Chase Edmonds, so naturally, they were expected to serve as a crutch for McCoy when things got rough. Yet, things got even worse for the birds after Edmonds went down with a high-ankle sprain and didn't finish the game as a result. Luckily, Conner, who most believed was well past his prime, turned on the burners and carried the team on his back to a win.

The former Steeler was already playing well leading up to bout versus San Francisco, scoring at least once in five of his eight showings on the year. Yet, he surpassed expectations by finding the end zone three times in total while racking up nearly 100 rushing yards. He also caught all five of his targets for 77 yards. With Edmonds now out for the foreseeable future, Conner should get plenty of opportunities to produce against a shoddy Panthers defense, even if Murray and Hopkins can make it back.

D'Ernest Johnson, RB - @ NE ($5,400)

When we thought we'd seen the last of Johnson, here he is again, ready to occupy space in an abundance of DFS lineups. Yes, we'd love to believe we can get away with other options to go against the crowd. However, when considering his potential points total in relation to his value, we may not have any other choice than to keep him under consideration against New England.

Kareem Hunt remains out with a calf issue, and Nick Chubb has, you guessed it, COVID-19, so Johnson should be in line to handle the bulk of the work in Week 10. The 22-year-old was a menace against Denver during his only start of the season by racking up 146 yards and a touchdown off 22 carries. He also had a pair of receptions for 22 yards. It isn't unreasonable to believe he may see that same workload against the Patriots. Yet, even if he doesn't produce the way he did against the Broncos, the bargain opportunity certainly makes rolling with Johnson worth the risk.

Also Consider: Jonathan Taylor ($9,400), Austin Ekeler ($8,600), Dalvin Cook ($8,500), Darrel Williams ($6,000), Mark Ingram II ($5,500)

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 10 DFS Lineup Picks

Davante Adams, WR - vs. SEA ($8,700)

Adams wasn't available for Thursday Night Football versus Arizona in Week 8 after he was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Yet, he made his return last Sunday against Kansas City, albeit he didn't have Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball. With Rodgers out against the Chiefs because of a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, Jordan Love got the first start of his career.

Without a doubt, the absence of the reigning MVP signal-caller didn't do Adams any favors. He would finish with only 42 receiving yards, catching just six of his 14 looks from Love throughout the game. Fortunately, Rodgers is on track to play against the Seahawks. Still, even if Rodgers doesn't, Adams has plenty of room to produce against Seattle.

Tyreek Hill, WR - @ LV ($8,400)

Hill began the year by nearly compiling 200 yards against the Cleveland Browns. However, he hasn't been as consistent as most fantasy managers had expected him to be since then. Sure, he's had some good outings. Yet, he's had some bad ones as well.

Nonetheless, now is a good time for DFS enthusiasts to start believing in the 27-year-old. His rostering cost is super low. Also, Hill has played well versus the Raiders throughout his career by hauling in 43 catches for 635 yards and six total touchdowns. Although historical trends don't necessarily result in similar outcomes, everyone should be willing to take a chance on this one.

Also Consider: Cooper Kupp ($9,500), Justin Jefferson ($7,500), Diontae Johnson ($7,400), Keenan Allen ($7,200)

FanDuel Tight Ends - Week 10 DFS Lineup Picks

Darren Waller, TE - vs. KC ($7,000)

Las Vegas has had its share of ups and downs this year. While the team is playing better than most had anticipated, it's even more impressive that the Raiders have a winning record when you consider the organization parted ways with its head coach, Jon Gruden, and leading wideout, Henry Ruggs III.

Without Ruggs, it was expected that others would step up, and that's just what happened against the Giants. However, Waller remained the most involved by providing a source of comfort for Derek Carr. Overall, Waller received 11 looks from Carr, with the 29-year-old bringing in seven catches for a game-high 92 yards. It will be a battle of arguably the best tight ends in the league, as Waller and Travis Kelce will square off in an AFC West showdown. Fortunately for the former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket, the Chiefs haven't played well on the defensive end all year. It's also expected that Waller will continue to get more than enough attention from Carr not only in Week 10 but for the remainder of the year.

Also Consider: Travis Kelce ($7,500)
