FanDuel Lineup Picks (Week 4) - NFL DFS Advice

Welcome to RotoBaller's daily fantasy football FanDuel lineup picks for Week 4 of the NFL season. In this article I will be taking you through the best FanDuel DFS plays of the week for this upcoming Sunday.

These FanDuel lineup recommendations are based on matchups, recent performances, overall upside/talent levels, and other factors such as Vegas odds, home field advantage, and more.

Good luck with your FanDuel DFS lineups!

FanDuel Quarterback - Week 4 DFS Picks

Philip Rivers (vs. PHI, $7,400)

In terms of fantasy production, Rivers has gotten worse every week this season. However, he enters Week 4 as a home favorite against what should remain a depleted Eagles secondary. Last week, Eli Manning was the first QB of the season to throw multiple TDs against the Eagles. However, given their current lack of depth in the secondary, Rivers should be able to take advantage of the matchup.

Russell Wilson (vs. IND, $7,900)

This feels like such a can’t miss spot for Wilson that it seems bound to fail. Fortunately for you, this article isn’t based on my feelings but instead numbers. Because of that, Wilson is a solid play as the Colts have allowed the fourth most passing yards per game. In the Colts’ only road game this season they allowed Jared Goff to throw for over 300 yards, which certainly bodes well for Wilson.

FanDuel Running Backs - Week 4 DFS Picks

LeSean McCoy (@ ATL, $8,300)

Atlanta hasn’t given up big numbers to opposing running backs to begin the season, but the offenses they have faced to this point have either been inept (Chicago) or don’t feature the run (Green Bay and Detroit). Neither of those things should be true for the Bills’ offense this week, and while McCoy’s efficiency has been down over the past few weeks, he has remained heavily involved in the offense. His lowest number of touches in a single game this season has been 18 and that volume will give him plenty of opportunity to break off a long run or two on the fast track of Atlanta’s dome.

Ezekiel Elliot (vs. LAR, $8,500)

The talk of Zeke being a disappointment is puzzling as he has topped 16 FanDuel points two of the three first three games of the season. While we haven’t necessarily seen a “splash game” from him, he has an incredibly safe floor thanks to guaranteed volume. In a week where there are bargains to be had in several positions, Zeke is fairly easy to pay up for. The matchup is also positive for Elliot, as the Rams have allowed 4.3 yards per rush attempt and six rushing touchdowns to this point in the season.

FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 4 DFS Picks

DeAndre Hopkins vs. TEN, $7,300)

DeShaun Watson has proven that he can be a competent quarterback in the NFL and that he is willing to heavily target DeAndre Hopkins. Both bode well for Hopkins’ fantasy value, as does the 275 passing yards per game and seven touchdowns the Titans have allowed through three games this season.

Paul Richardson (vs. IND, $5,000)

The strength and popularity of this play depends on Doug Baldwin’s status heading into Sunday night. The good news is that Richardson has become a key part of the Seahawks’ offense as he has been on the field for more than 80% of the offensive snaps in two of three games this season. Similarly, Richardson has had no fewer than five targets in a game. Meanwhile, the Colts have allowed 284 passing yards per game so the Seahawks should be able to move the ball through the air. This play is better assuming Baldwin doesn’t play, but even if he does, Richardson is still a viable play given his salary.

FanDuel Tight End - Week 4 DFS Pick

Austin Seferian-Jenkins (vs. JAC, $4,800)

ASJ returned to the field from a two-game suspension last week and the Jets wasted little time getting him involved in the offense. In fact, he was on the field for 48 of 63 offensive snaps and was targeted six times. The Jets don’t have a wealth of receiving options, which should lead to Jenkins being heavily targeted once again. The matchup may not be ideal, but it won’t take a lot for Seferian-Jenkins to return value.

FanDuel Defense - Week 4 DFS Pick

Cincinnati Bengals D/ST (@ CLE, $4,600)

The Browns currently lead the league in giveaways and the Bengals defense has found different ways to get it done defensively (at least for fantasy purposes). The Browns have an implied total of 19, so if Vegas is right, the Bengals are in a good spot to produce this week.
