EPL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel (11/6/21) - English Premier League Soccer

Vince's FanDuel EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League soccer on 11/6/21. His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! After Friday's single-game EPL slate, the action continues this weekend with a small Saturday slate that only has four games on the main slate. If you want to keep playing larger slates, you can wake up early and play the slate with five games. Keep reading this breakdown for my DFS soccer picks on RotoBaller and see how to have success on Saturday's slate.

The very large majority of my DFS content will be EPL-related, however, there is more soccer than just what is being played in England. If you want to chop it up with myself and other RotoBaller writers about non-EPL leagues or other sports, consider becoming a premium member and joining our ever-growing community of DFS and fantasy sports enthusiasts!

In this article, I will be providing you with my English Premier League daily fantasy soccer lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/6/21 for the slate that locks at 11:00 am ET. The slate locks an hour later than normal because they have already had day light savings in the UK. Be sure to also check out our other DFS lineup picks for other active sports. You can always find me on Twitter @vdray5 if you have any questions. Good luck, RotoBallers!

EPL DFS Lineup Picks - Overview

Brentford vs Norwich

It's Brentford's (-155) week to take on the worst team in the league. Norwich are the worst EPL side - and it's not close. Brentford have easily been the best of the newly-promoted teams this year, however, they are coming off three straight league losses. They have a great bounce back opportunity at home in this game, and their attackers will be good DFS targets Saturday. The goal total over/under is 2.5.

Chelsea vs Burnley

Chelsea (-360) pushed their winning streak to seven with a 1-0 win over Malmo in the Champions League Tuesday. They also grew their lead atop the EPL table to three points after Liverpool's draw against Brighton last weekend. This week, Chelsea host a Burnley team that has not been good this year. While their defense has been solid, they cannot get anything going towards the goal. Chelsea attackers will be a popular spot on this slate. Chelsea should dominate possession stats in this game and roll to their eighth consecutive win. The goal total over/under is 2.5, 3.

Crystal Palace vs Wolverhampton

Wolves have quickly climbed the table after a difficult start to the season. They have four wins and a draw in their last five Premier League games. They travel to London to take on Crystal Palace (+150) who have been getting some decent results lately. They had a streak of four straight draws in league play until they pulled off an upset win over Manchester City last weekend. Palace will have their work cutout for them in this game though. The goal total over/under is 2, 2.5.

Brighton vs Newcastle

So we have the league's worst (Norwich) and the league's second worst defense on this slate in Newcastle. Brighton (-160) draw the tasty home matchup in this one coming off a good 2-2 draw against Liverpool. They are the third team on this slate favored by a goal or more, and their attackers will join Chelsea and Brentford in the top spots. The goal total over/under is 2.5.

FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders

Let's start with the attackers who have the best matchup on the slate - and also the best matchup possible right now. Norwich are atrocious. Their defense is allowing 2.5 goals per game in the league right now which is the worst in the Premier League. Brentford are the lucky ones that get to face Norwich at home this week, and they will be a popular spot for DFS players on Saturday. Ivan Toney ($18) has been a small disappointment in the Premier League this season compared to his season last year with 31 goals and 10 assists. He has just two goals this year, but he's in an amazing spot against Norwich's defense on this slate. He has good goal upside at +105, plus he leads the squad in shots on goal and chances created. He's going to be chalky on this slate.

Brentford are definitely in a good spot to stack on Saturday. Bryan Mbeumo ($14) has been the next best attacker for them this season. He also has two goals and is third on the squads in SOGs and chances created. Mbeumo actually has the highest xG/90 on the team at 0.48 which is about an (expected) goal every other game. Fire him on on this slate. Christian Norgaard ($13) is another Brentford attacker to look at on Saturday.

Another team with a great matchup for attackers on this slate is Brighton at home against Newcastle - the league's second worst defense. They're not far behind Norwich in being terrible at defending their own goal with an average of 2.3 goals allowed per game. We can get Brighton's leading scorer this year, Neal Maupay ($17), for a good price. He is +140 to push his goal total to five this year and he has a great matchup for a high floor/ceiling game.

There are several good value plays lower down for Brighton depending on who starts. Pascal Gross ($15), Alexis Mac Allister ($14), Solly March ($11), and Adam Lallana ($10) are all viable at their respective price points.

It's pretty easy to make a comfortable lineup with two attackers from Brentford and two attackers from Brighton, however, there are some other noteworthy spots to highlight on this slate. Let's start with Chelsea. Hakim Ziyech ($17) is my favorite play of their high-end guys in this game. He has the highest xG + xA/90 among the expected starters, and he is coming off a goal Tuesday against Malmo. Jorginho ($10) is also an awesome play for Chelsea. He has been productive fantasy-wise in his last two games. With Chelsea rolling and in another good matchup at home against Burnley, Jorginho is a great way to get some cheap exposure to their attacking group.

FanDuel DFS Defenders

Reece James ($13) has been one of the best defenders in the Premier League so far. He leads Chelsea in goals with four including two last game against Newcastle. He's been getting some shots on target and chances created in addition to his solid defensive peripherals. Chelsea should dominate possession stats Saturday against Burnley which will give James 90 minutes to do damage. He's also in a good spot for the clean sheet bonus on top of all that. Cesar Azpilicueta ($9) is way too cheap for his floor/ceiling combination in this game and can easily be paired with James at the DEF spot on Saturday.

To get some additional exposure to Brentford and/or Brighton in their aforementioned plus matchups, each have a more attacking defender to target on this slate. For Brentford, Ethan Pinnock ($11) is the guy. He has the nicer of the matchups for defensive stats and a clean sheet bonus. However, he is $2 more than Marc Cucurella ($9) for Brighton. Cucurella has created more chances lately, but he takes fewer shots and gets fewer opportunities in front of the net. Both are solid plays in their own right and can be an additional piece in a stack of either team.

Jamaal Lascelles ($10) deserves to get into this article. He has five consecutive double digit performances with 16.76 fantasy points on average in that span. He does not have the greatest matchup in this game, but he's getting results week in and week out at a good price.

Lewis Dunk ($9) has been a little inconsistent, but he's too cheap for his upside with defensive stats regardless of the matchup. Teammate, Tariq Lamptey ($6) is also underpriced for what he can do.

FanDuel DFS Goalkeepers

Edouard Mendy ($13) and his backline keep churning out clean sheets. In their seven game winning streak, Chelsea have conceded just two goals. This week, they're at home against a very low scoring Burnley side. Mendy has a great chance at both bonuses on Saturday.

Alvaro Fernandez ($12) did not do us any favors in his season debut last week. With Raya hurt, Fernandez will be in the net for Brentford going forward. He has the best matchup on paper at home against a Norwich team that has just three goals in 10 league games.

Thanks for reading my EPL DFS lineup picks breakdown on RotoBaller and good luck!
