EPL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel (10/24/21) - English Premier League Soccer

Vince's FanDuel EPL DFS lineup picks for English Premier League soccer on 10/24/21. His top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, goalkeepers.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Yesterday's five-game slate on FanDuel went well for us at Rotoballer. There were some nice plays in my article including Maxwell Cornet, Matthew Lowton, Lucas Digne, and Nathan Redmond among others. We have a small, but fun, main slate on Sunday that includes three games. Keep reading this breakdown for my DFS soccer picks on RotoBaller and see how to have success on Sunday's slate.

The very large majority of my DFS content will be EPL-related, however, there is more soccer than just what is being played in England. If you want to chop it up with myself and other RotoBaller writers about non-EPL leagues or other sports, consider becoming a premium member and joining our ever-growing community of DFS and fantasy sports enthusiasts!

In this article, I will be providing you with my English Premier League daily fantasy soccer lineup picks for FanDuel on 10/24/21 for the slate that locks at 9:00 am ET. Be sure to also check out our other DFS lineup picks for other active sports. You can always find me on Twitter @vdray5 if you have any questions. Good luck, RotoBallers!

EPL DFS Lineup Picks - Overview

Brentford vs Leicester

Leicester had a brutal run to begin the season, but they might be rounding into form right now. They have two straight wins against Manchester United and then Spartak Moscow in which they scored a combined eight goals. That should do wonders for their confidence going forward, but they do have a difficult away matchup against a Brentford (+160) side that has been the best of the newly-promoted teams this season. They have been able to hang tough against England's top competition. This should be a hard-fought battle between two tough teams. The goal total over/under is a slate-low 2.5.

West Ham vs Tottenham

Tottenham are on a two game winning streak in the EPL and travel across town to take on West Ham (+135). West Ham have dropped to 9th on the table after a hot start in the first few weeks. This should still be a fairly even game Sunday in the London Derby. The goal total over/under is 2.5, 3.

Manchester United vs Liverpool

This will be the marquee matchup of Gameweek 9. Two of the preseason title hopefuls face off as Manchester United host Liverpool (+130). Liverpool is having a much better season of the two so far firmly in title race. United have some work to do to catch up after some questionable results that include a loss to Aston Villa and draws against Southampton and Everton. Liverpool are the slate's "largest favorites" at that number. The goal total over/under is the highest on the slate at 3.0.

FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders

Mo Salah ($21) is probably the most matchup-proof soccer player on the planet right now. He has goals in all of his EPL games this year except one. He is +110 to score in this game and takes on a United defense that has not kept a clean sheet in any competition since August 29th. Salah is piling on tons of shots on goal as well, and he's been getting a good number of chances created. He's a stellar play on any slate, and he's actually pretty affordable at only $21.

Playing an attacker against Brentford's defense on the road is a little risky. However, Jamie Vardy ($21) has seven goals in the league this season including five in his last four games. Vardy has proven he can score against anyone in the EPL, and he's a viable pivot off Salah if you're feeling dangerous. You can go with Patson Daka ($18) - Leicester's new signing - who has five goals in his last two games including four against Spartak Moscow earlier this week if you're looking to save some money off Vardy.

Michail Antonio ($20) is another top attacker I'll be putting in some lineups on Sunday. He has a nice matchup at home against a Tottenham defense that cannot be trusted. Like Manchester United's defense, they also have not kept a clean sheet in any competition since August 29th. Antonio has five league goals already this year, and while he did not score last week against Everton, he was involved and had opportunities. Antonio is +160 to score Sunday, and he's one of several elite attackers to target. Jarrod Bowen ($17) is a nice cheaper WHU play in this matchup.

Ivan Toney ($16) has not had quite the goal-scoring success so far this year as he had last season in The Championship. However, he does have two goals this year and some nice peripheral stats. He has a good matchup at home against a Leicester defense that has been uncharacteristically leaky this season. They are allowing 1.75 goals per game in the league this year and just conceded three times to Spartak Moscow during the week. Toney has the best anytime scoring odds in the game at +145.

The value at FWD/MID is severely lacking on this slate. The only two guys $12 and under I would even consider are Declan Rice ($12) and Fabinho ($10).

FanDuel DFS Defenders

Liverpool allow the most combined defensive action out of all of the teams on the slate, so we are going to be targeting some Manchester United defenders. In my opinion, all three of Harry Maguire ($10), Aaron Wan-Bissaka ($9), and Victor Lindelof ($8) are viable based on what price point you need. Maguire has been the best this year. Wan-Bissaka is underpriced. Lindelof is the cheapest. Two Red Devil defenders can definitely be combined together into the same lineup as well.

Vladimir Coufal ($10) and Christian Romero ($7) are some other defenders to consider on this slate.

FanDuel DFS Goalkeepers

None of the GKs are particularly appealing on this slate, and you can get away with justifying all of them depending on how you built the rest of your lineup. Alisson ($11) makes sense if you fade Ronaldo as the largest favorite on the slate. Liverpool's defense is top-notch, and United will still force him to make some saves which helps his floor.

David Raya ($7) is also intriguing at this price. Leicester's attacking group has woken up in their last few games, but Brentford's defense has still been one of the strongest defenses in the league up to this point. Raya has a very high ceiling if he can get both bonuses.

Thanks for reading my EPL DFS lineup picks breakdown on RotoBaller and good luck!
