Drydene 311: Sunday's DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy NASCAR Lineup Picks

We are officially at the end of NASCAR doubleheader season, and there's no way in hell we leave this weekend empty-handed. To ensure some extra luck, I'm bringing in one of the wildest (and probably only) musicians from Delaware, Mr. George Thorogood. "Bad To The Bone" is his hit song, and just like in the music video, I plan on us flicking a cigar at the end of the line for the win.

Denny Hamlin had an INCREDIBLE race on Saturday, winning all three stages and getting his first victory at The Monster Mile. There wasn't a doubt in my mind that he could pull it off, and he did it all with two of his teammates trailing behind him (Truex Jr, Kyle Busch). Not only was the race great to watch from a bettor, and DFS player's perspective, but as a fan of the sport, I genuinely enjoyed the race.

I'm excited to watch more magic unfold on Sunday, and I think we may see a back to back win for Hamlin just like we did for Harvick at Michigan. Even though I expect this to happen, It won't stop me from using a few different combinations up in my lineups (and it shouldn't stop you either). I'm wishing you all nothing but success, and be sure to tweet me @GarageGuyChase when you hit the green lines!

Denny Hamlin #11

(DraftKings $10,600 | FanDuel $13,000 | DK SportsBook +300 )

As I said in the opening, Hamlin finally conquered the Monster Mile on Saturday for the first time in his career, and he could pull it off again on Sunday. Hamlin was strong from the jump, and just as I predicted, he was the dominator of the race. Hamlin starts from P20 on Sunday.

Kurt Busch #1

(DraftKings $8,300 | FanDuel $10,300 | DK SportsBook +5000)

I'm finally back on my Busch'It, with Kurt Busch starting P28 on Sunday. Busch was taken out of the race on Saturday after getting hit by Erik Jones just minutes after the green flag waved. Busch has a decent record at this track, and should gain position early.

Kevin Harvick #4

(DraftKings $11,700 | FanDuel $14,000 | DK SportsBook +450)

Harvick started the race off pretty strong, but couldn't seem to get that extra push he needed after having a pit issue. Even with Kyle Busch's impressive run, I can't pass up taking another stab at Harvick. He starts P17 on Sunday, and had an entire day of "practice" under his belt.

Martin Truex Jr. #19

(DraftKings $11,300 | FanDuel $13,500 | DK SportsBook +400)

Truex Jr. had an amazing run on Saturday, proving that he can actually finish higher than P3 after claiming the spot for so many races in a row. I honestly thought we were going to see him get the win on Saturday for a split second, but Hamlin has just had the better car this season. Starting in P19, I expect to see him jump to the front with the others who had strong runs yesterday, and take another shot at claiming his win.

Ryan Preece #37

(DraftKings $5,600 | FanDuel $4,000)

Preece was one of my punt plays on Saturday along with a couple other I wrote about on Saturday, but struggled towards the end of the race. His teammate Ricky Stenhouse Jr. looked phenomenal, so all Preece needs to do is take what he learned on Saturday, and put his equipment to good use. Preece starts in P29 on Sunday and we'll hope to see him crack the Top 20.

Matt DiBenedetto #21

(DraftKings $6,800 | FanDuel $8,500)

Are you ready to risk it for the biscuit? DiBenedetto is starting on the pole this go-round, and could be the difference-maker in your tournament lineups. Chef BoiRDeen and I talked about what would need to happen if you rolled the dice on DiBenedetto this Sunday in the RotoBaller NASCAR DFS Preview Video, so be sure to check out the video for more analysis (Drew's Rankings are also a must-read for this race).

Tyler Reddick #8

(DraftKings $6,500 | FanDuel $7,800)

Reddick's price tag for Sunday's race is pretty solid. There are definitely some better options for place differential in his bracket, but I can't seem to get as excited about them. Reddick is in a prime position to make a move early, and he's hungry for that first Cup Series victory.

Alex Bowman #88

(DraftKings $8,600 | FanDuel $10,000)

Bowman was another prisoner of the wreck game on Saturday, which caused him to have a sub-par run. Bowman will be going to the backup car on Sunday, and it takes me back to a couple of years ago when he and Truex had to start from the rear and ended up finishing inside the Top 5. I'm looking to see him complete the "Bowman Bounceback" and secure a Top 10.
