ANALYSIS: The Yankees have struggled to score runs, but they've been among the best teams in baseball at preventing them. The recent performance of Domingo Germán has been a help to them in that department.
After a couple of clunkers to open the season, Germán has logged quality starts in three of his last four games. He owns a 2.59 ERA and 0.95 WHIP during that span, and has struck out six while walking only one in each appearance. The long ball continues to be an issue for him - a function of both his home park and his below-average command - but the 28-year-old managed to win 18 games with reasonable ratios (4.02 ERA, 1.15 WHIP) back in 2019 even with an elevated home run rate.
Germán faces the light-hitting Orioles next, making him an excellent streaming option in any format.
