Dalton Schultz's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Dalton Schultz for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ team leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: Dalton Schultz has finished as a top-10 tight end in each of the past three weeks. In fact, he has finished as a top-six tight end five times since Week 4.
Schultz has thrived on the pass-heavy C.J. Stroud-led Texans offense. He has been targeted five or more times in six different games, including double-digit targets twice. Some of his biggest games have come in recent weeks. In Week 9, he caught 10 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown, and he followed that showing up by catching four passes for 71 yards.
In Week 12, Schultz faces the Jaguars, against whom he only caught one pass for nine yards in Week 3. But Schultz did not start that game. His first start was not until Week 5. Tight end is a position with a lot of random variability, but if you have a tight end who can consistently finish as a top-10 producer, you should start them.
