EPL DFS Goalkeeper Picks for DraftKings

Top Pick

Joe Hart – Manchester City - $5,700

Hart leads the league with five clean sheets this season. A sixth seems more than likely when City take on the Callum Wilson-less Cherries at the Etihad this weekend.

Value Pick

Boaz Myhill – West Bromwich Albion - $4,800

The Welsh keeper has a favorable matchup against tailspinning Sunderland. Sam Allardyce inherited a Black Cats squad that is last in the league with just 23 shots on goal through the first eight weeks. With his opposition failing to gain scoring opportunities, Boaz Myhill looks likely to push for his fifth clean sheet of the season.

EPL DFS Defense Picks for DraftKings

Top Pick

Seamus Coleman – Everton - $5,500

Coleman used the international break to further recover from the injuries that have hampered his early season performance. Now healthy, Coleman should replenish the overlapping runs and precise crosses that have been missing from the Toffee attack in recent weeks.

Value Picks

Pablo Zabaleta – Manchester City - $4,300

Zabaleta makes his return from the lower body injury that has kept him out of the Sky Blue lineup since the season kicked off. His return comes at the ideal time, with fantasy stud Aleksandar Kolorav sitting out after taking a knock during Serbia’s last round of Euro qualifications.

Abdul Baba Rahman – Chelsea - $2,700

Rahman will make his Blues debut this weekend after transferring from Augsburg in August. Branislav Ivanovic will take a seat after suffering an injury in Serbia’s Euro Qualifying match last week. His absence will move Cesar Azpilecueta to the left side, allowing Rahman the opportunity to man the right flank. With Ivanovic proving to be a defensive liability, a positive performance from Rahman could mean a permanent position in the regular starting XI.

DeAndre Yedlin – Sunderland - $2,900

Keep an eye on this one, as Yedlin’s position in the starting XI is far from guaranteed, especially in Allardyce’s new regime. If given the opportunity to play, Yedlin can be the influx of youthful energy the Black Cats need to get their season back on track.

 

EPL DFS Midfielder Picks for DraftKings

Top Picks

Dusan Tadic – Southampton - $9,700

Tadic leads the Premier League with 52 crosses into the box through the first eight matches. With opponent Leicester conceding  the second most goals in the EPL there's a high probability that at least one of Tadic’s balls will find the back of the net.

Dimitri Payet – West Ham United - $9,100

Payet is quietly making a case to be the Premier League’s top summer signing. In his last match, Payet scored his fourth goal of the season and delivered 10 crosses. His 16.4 points per game are second to only Riyad Mahrez among midfielders, yet Payet comes $1,100 cheaper than his Fox counterpart.

Value Picks

Dele Alli – Tottenham - $4,400

Alli has performed extraordinarily well since arriving at White Hart Lane. Still just 19 years old, Alli was not expected to be a worthwhile contributor for the Spurs until a few years down the line. Repeated impressive performances during Tottenham’s stellar September has not only cemented Alli as a Spur regular but even earned him a shocking call to represent the English senior squad during its last round of Euro Qualifiers.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek – Chelsea - $4,600

With Nemanja Matic taking a knock during Euro qualifying and Cesc Fabregas maintaining his lackluster form, Jose Mourinho has opened the door for the youngster Loftus-Cheek. Deeming him “ready,” Mourinho will look to the 19 year old to insert some exuberance into a squad that has looked down-right disinterested.
 

EPL DFS Forward Picks for DraftKings

Top Picks

Jamie Vardy – Leicester – $9,500

Vardy has been sensational all year long, seemingly getting better as the season progresses. After teammate Riyad Mahrez set the league ablaze in August, Vardy had a red-hot September, scoring in five consecutive matches. Leicester face a Southampton side that have had its defensive struggles. Look for the match to be a wide-open offensive display.

Alexis Sanchez – Arsenal - $11,600

Sanchez is still not 100% healthy, but his return to training on Thursday makes his presence in the Gunner’s starting lineup likely for Saturday’s match against Watford. His high price notwithstanding, Sanchez leads all active players with 13 shots on goal and fourth in the league with 21 fouls suffered. With Arsenal in fine form, look for its attack to be in full-force despite Watford’s stalwart defensive performance thus far.

Value Picks

Wilfried Bony – Manchester City - $6,500

Bony will take over as Manchester City’s number one striker with Sergio Aguero sidelined with an injury. With David Silva out as well, look for City’s offense to flow through the middle of the pitch with Yaya Toure and Kevin De Bruyne linking up with the target-forward Bony. In previous spells as the number one striker, Bony used his size and strength to his advantage by positioning himself in the box with his back to the net, successfully laying off the ball for his midfielders to tee up.

Rudy Gestede – Aston Villa - $5,500

Gestede is a valuable option for players still betting against the success of the Chelsea defense. Gestede has been a worthwhile addition for the Villans, as they still look to replicate the scoring prowess of the departed Christian Benteke. Gestede has four goals and seven shots on goal, despite only starting four games.
