Cedrick Wilson Jr. start 'em, sit 'em fantasy football lineup picks for Week 17. Should you start or sit Cedrick Wilson Jr. in Week 17 (2023) fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start at WR in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR6
ANALYSIS: Miami Dolphins wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. has been a bigger part of the Fins' offense in recent weeks. Wilson Jr. has made at least two catches in each of the past three games. The former Cowboy is having his best season since joining the Dolphins and the second-best season of his career. He has gained over 240 receiving yards and scored two touchdowns.
With an ankle injury keeping Jaylen Waddle out of the Dolphins' Week 17 contest against the Baltimore Ravens, Wilson Jr. will be the Dolphins' WR2 this week. He has gotten 20 or more snaps on passing plays in each of the past three weeks and three other times this season. In each game with 20 or more snaps, Wilson Jr. has been targeted more than once and made at least one catch.
However, Wilson Jr. has never finished better than the WR30 spot. That was in Week 9 when he caught one pass for a 31-yard touchdown. In the past three weeks, he has finished between WR61 and WR95. Even if he hits his high-end, he would be a fifth-tier WR in 12-team leagues or a third-tier WR if he happens to score a touchdown. Baltimore is only allowing 1.5 touchdowns per game, the fewest in the league, and Miami's touchdowns are heavily concentrated with the running backs.
