Cameron Dicker start 'em, sit 'em fantasy football lineup picks for Week 16. Should you start or sit Cameron Dicker in Week 16 (2023) fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start at K in 16+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: K2
ANALYSIS: Los Angeles Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker has been one of the league's most accurate kickers, having made 95.2% of the field goals he has attempted in his two-year career. He led the league in field goal accuracy as a rookie last season.
While Dicker remains one of the best kickers, he hasn't been productive from a fantasy standpoint because he lacks volume. The Chargers' offense has been terrible this season, especially in recent weeks. In the past three games, the Chargers have averaged 11.3 points per game, fewer than every team except the Carolina Panthers. They have only gained 283.3 yards per game in the past three, the eighth-fewest.
In that context, it makes sense that Dicker hasn't had opportunities to score points. From Weeks 10-13, Dicker only attempted four extra points. In the past two weeks, he hasn't attempted a single field goal.
Dicker will probably not get many opportunities this week against the Buffalo Bills, either. The Bills have a strong defense, and they have only allowed 5.9 kicking points per game, the fifth-fewest. The Chargers offense will probably still not be effective at moving the ball. Having fired Brandon Staley, their new coach might reinvigorate the Chargers' offense. But the team is still without starting QB Justin Herbert and star WR Keenan Allen. Dicker should be benched in 12-team leagues.
