Tampa Bay draws a matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. Their defense has done a good job shutting down opposing tight ends, as they currently rank eighth in defensive DVOA against the position per FTN Fantasy.
Otton has a tough draw this week, but we can’t recommend sitting him, given his current role in the offense. He sees a ton of volume and is Tampa Bay’s clear top offensive weapon. The Buccaneers are also six-point underdogs this week. There’s a good chance they will be playing from behind for the majority of this game.
Managers should leave Otton in their lineups as his usage and role make him one of the top options at the position, regardless of matchup.
