ANALYSIS: San Francisco Giants first base prospect Bryce Eldridge is quickly progressing through the minor leagues and should be in the mix to make his MLB debut during the second half of the season.
The Giants drafted Eldridge with the 16th pick in the 2023 MLB Draft out of James Madison HS. In 2024, Eldridge opened the season with Low-A but was able ot reach Triple-A by the end of the campaign. Through 116 games, the first baseman performed at a high level, boasting a .291/.374/.516 slash line. He went deep 23 times, added 27 doubles, and held a 132:59 K:BB.

This season, the Giants opted for their top prospect to begin the season with Double-A Richmond. Through 31 games, Eldridge has posted a .281/.346/.509 line with six long balls.
If he continues this pace, he will not only be in the mix to return to Triple-A, but he will remain on track to reach the big leagues later this season.
