Bold Predictions for Fantasy Football Week 14: Will Levis, Isaac Guerendo, Amari Cooper, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Pat Freiermuth

Pat Freiermuth - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Mike Fanelli gives his fantasy football bold predictions for Week 14 of the 2024 NFL season. Should you start or sit Will Levis, Isaac Guerendo, Amari Cooper?

Week 14 is here, and I’m back with another edition of fantasy football bold predictions. This week’s list of bold predictions will include Will Levis, Isaac Guerendo, Amari Cooper, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, and Pat Freiermuth.

Every week, I will provide some fun and bold fantasy football predictions. While these bold predictions aren’t the most likely outcomes, they are things I believe could happen this week.

Let’s look at my five bold predictions for Week 14 of the 2024 NFL season.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Will Levis

Finishes the week as a top-five quarterback

Levis is the QB30 for the year, averaging 11.7 fantasy points per game. The second-year pro struggled to start the season, averaging one passing touchdown and 7.7 fantasy points per game over the first six weeks. However, he has played well since returning from a shoulder injury.

The former Kentucky star is the QB15 from Week 10 through Week 13, averaging 240 passing yards, 1.8 touchdowns, and 16.8 fantasy points per game. He has scored 15.6 or more fantasy points in all but one of those contests, including back-to-back weeks with at least 16.1 against two solid defenses.

Meanwhile, Levis has an excellent fantasy matchup in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The AFC South division rivals have arguably the worst defense in football. They have surrendered 22.2 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, the most in the NFL, giving up 27.9% more than the league average.

Jacksonville has allowed opposing quarterbacks to have two or more passing touchdowns in 66.7% of their games. Furthermore, quarterbacks have had three or more passing scores against the Jaguars in a quarter of their matchups this year. Don’t be surprised if Levis has a three-touchdown performance on Sunday.

Isaac Guerendo…

Scores over 20 half-point PPR fantasy points

Unfortunately, the San Francisco 49ers' backfield has been destroyed by injuries. Christian McCaffrey has played in only four contests this year because of Achilles tendinitis. Meanwhile, Jordan Mason has dealt with multiple injuries as the team’s starting running back. While both have been productive when healthy, the 49ers will be without McCaffrey or Mason for the rest of the regular season.

Last week, McCaffrey suffered a PCL sprain in his right knee, landing him on injured reserve for the second time this year. Meanwhile, Mason suffered a high-ankle sprain late in the loss to the Buffalo Bills. While he hasn’t been placed on injured reserve, head coach Kyle Shanahan expects him to miss multiple weeks with the injury.

Therefore, Guerendo is San Francisco’s new lead running back. The rookie has barely played this season, totaling 42 rushing attempts for 246 yards, two touchdowns, and 39 half-point PPR fantasy points. However, he has averaged 5.9 yards per rushing attempt in limited work. More importantly, Guerendo has an appealing fantasy matchup this week.

The Chicago Bears have surrendered 21.3 fantasy points per game to running backs, the 11th-most in the NFL. They have given up 139 rushing yards per game to running backs since their Week 7 bye, including 125 or more in back-to-back contests. Expect Guerendo to light up Chicago’s struggling run defense.

Amari Cooper…

Has his best fantasy performance as a Buffalo Bill

Cooper struggled during his time with the Cleveland Browns, averaging only 8.2 half-point PPR fantasy points per game in the six contests with the team despite seeing 8.8 targets per matchup. However, the veteran wide receiver had a solid Bills debut despite barely knowing the playbook.

The star wide receiver had four receptions on five targets for 66 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 14.6 fantasy points in the Week 7 win over the Tennessee Titans. Cooper only played 19 snaps in that game, seeing a target on 26.3% of his plays. Unfortunately, the veteran has struggled since that performance.

He has dealt with a wrist injury the past few weeks, forcing him to miss two games. More importantly, Cooper has averaged only 2.7 targets and 3.3 fantasy points per game since his Buffalo debut in Week 7. However, the veteran is prime for a bounce-back performance on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.

Los Angeles has surrendered 27.8 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the 12th-most in the NFL this year. They have given up at least one receiving touchdown to wide receivers in 83.3% of their games. Furthermore, Marquez Valdes-Scantling had 10.6 fantasy points and a touchdown against the Rams last week.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine…

Is a top-12 wide receiver for the second consecutive week

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you have heard about Westbrook-Ikhine’s touchdown streak. The veteran wide receiver had zero touchdowns and fantasy points before the Tennessee Titans’ Week 5 bye. However, he has been outstanding since the bye week, scoring a touchdown in nearly every game.

Westbrook-Ikhine has been the WR11 over the past eight weeks, averaging 11.8 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The veteran wide receiver has eight touchdowns in the past eight games, scoring at least once in all but one contest. More importantly, he has been a borderline must-start flex option for the past few weeks.

The veteran has averaged 2.3 receptions on 6.3 targets for 75.3 receiving yards, 1.3 touchdowns, and 16.7 fantasy points per game over the past three weeks, totaling 11.8 or more in every matchup. Last week, Westbrook-Ikhine finished as the WR8, scoring 19.6 fantasy points against the Washington Commanders.

Fantasy players should expect a similar result from him in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. They have surrendered 31.8 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the third-most in the NFL. The Jaguars have given up two or more receiving touchdowns to wide receivers in a third of their matchups.

Pat Freiermuth…

Ends Week 14 as a top-five tight end

Freiermuth was a popular late-round sleeper candidate entering the 2024 fantasy season. The veteran has been a solid streaming option, ranking as the TE15 for the year, averaging 7.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. While he struggled with Justin Fields under center, Freiermuth has been productive with Russell Wilson.

The former Penn State star has averaged 38 receiving yards and 7.4 fantasy points per game in the six contests Wilson started. More importantly, Freiermuth has seen an uptick in targets lately. He has 11 targets over the past two weeks, totaling 10 receptions for 127 receiving yards.

Last week, the veteran tight end had his best performance of the year. Freiermuth had six receptions on seven targets for 68 receiving yards, a touchdown, and 15.8 fantasy points, setting season highs in every category. Yet, he could be even better in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns.

Cleveland has surrendered 10.9 fantasy points per game to tight ends, the 10th-most in the NFL. They have given up 20 or more fantasy points to tight ends in two of their past five matchups, allowing over 90 receiving yards and a touchdown in both contests.
