Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller

5043 articles

You won't find a bigger Cubs fan than myself. Aside from my love of fantasy sports, which includes MLB, NFL and NBA, I own my own animal care business. I graduated from Columbia College in Chicago and currently reside in Chicago, IL. My love of fantasy sports started for me in the early 2000's and I have steadily been active with the same group of friends year in and year out for every league in baseball, basketball and football. I am hoping to help all RotoBaller members with any questions they may have. I consider myself an expert with minor league prospects, as it is a love of mine. I hope to give the best advice I can to the RotoBaller world!

After the first, Giolito settled […]

Tyler Chatwood Picks Up Save

Chicago Cubs relief pitcher Tyler Chatwood picked up his first save of the season on Saturday versus the Reds. Chatwood allowed two hits, but threw a scoreless frame. Willson Contreras Benched For Second Straight Day

Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras will sit for a second consecutive day on Saturday versus the Reds. It’s odd that one of the Cubs best offensive players has been out without an injury for two straight days, but manager Joe Maddon prefers to use Victor Caratini behind the plate when Yu Darvish is on the […]

Gavin Lux Continues To Impress

Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop prospect Gavin Lux continues to rake for Double-A Tulsa and added four more hits in five at-bats on Thursday. Chicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada went 2-for-5 with a run scored and RBI. Moncada has slowed down since a hot start, but is still hitting a respectable .281 with 31 runs, nine home runs and 29 RBI. Moncada should be started in most formats.
