NFL DFS Super Bowl LVI Value Plays

Odell Beckham Jr. ($12,600 DK (Captain)/ $8,400 DK (Flex), $10,500 FD)

Beckham may have finally found his groove in the Rams offense, and in particularly timely fashion at that. The former Pro Bowler has brought in 15 of 19 targets over the last two games against the Buccaneers and 49ers, leading to 181 receiving yards. Prior to that stretch, Beckham found the end zone six times over eight games in a sample of 29 receptions, leading to six double-digit fantasy-point tallies. While he ironically hasn't scored a touchdown in those two most recent contests, Beckham could certainly be the beneficiary of the extra attention the Bengals are sure to bestow on Cooper Kupp. Moreover, the fact he posted a 39-350-5 line on 52 targets in the three short/intermediate passing windows this season dovetails very well with the fact Cincy yielded 22 touchdown passes in those areas of the field.

Tee Higgins ($11,400 DK (Captain)/ $7,600 DK (Flex), $10,500 FD)

Higgins could well find himself in a very similar position to Beckham on the Bengals' side of the equation. Jalen Ramsey is naturally very likely to spend plenty of time on Ja'Marr Chase, which could certainly open things up for Cincinnati's next best downfield threat. Higgins averaged a solid 77.9 receiving yards per game during the season on 7.9 targets per contest, and he produced a 13-199 line on 19 targets over Cincinnati's last two playoff games. The Rams have been outstanding against the pass during the postseason, but the elevated 70.3 percent pass play rate they've faced due to their superior work against the run could certainly benefit Higgins and allow him to deliver a solid return at his reasonable salaries.

Tyler Boyd ($8,100 DK (Captain)/ $5,400 DK (Flex), $8,500 FD)

Boyd is another member of the Bengals' receiving corps that could benefit from Ramsey's attention on Chase, and with some recent lackluster showings, he could also be rostered more modestly than he otherwise would be on a single-game slate. The sure-handed veteran has a 14-98-2 line on 20 targets over his last four games, failing to eclipse four receptions or 36 yards in any of them. While his short-area role typically requires plenty of volume and a touchdown to really allow him to deliver a strong fantasy return, Boyd's high-percentage targets and the fact the Rams gave up 11 TDs in the three short passing windows makes him an appealing option. Additionally, if C.J. Uzomah misses the game with his knee sprain, Boyd's role would likely expand.

Kendall Blanton ($6,900 DK (Captain)/ $4,600 DK (Flex), $8,000 FD)

Blanton increasingly looks like he'll enjoy an expanded role, if not an outright starting assignment, with Tyler Higbee apparently struggling to get his knee back up to playing shape. Blanton impressed in the NFC Championship Game against the 49ers after his teammate went down, bringing in all five targets for 57 yards while flashing some impressive speed and athleticism. With plenty of Cincinnati's attention sure to be centered on slowing down Kupp, and Beckham to a lesser extent, Blanton could certainly see his fair share of favorable matchups in the middle of the field. The Bengals already come in having demonstrated plenty of vulnerability to tight ends this past regular season and during the playoffs. Cincinnati yielded the fifth-most DK (15.4) and FD (12.0) points per game to TEs during the season as a result of the 96-1,083-8 line they surrendered to the position, and they've followed it up by giving up a combined 17-171-1 line on 23 targets to Darren Waller and Travis Kelce in the postseason.

Matt Gay ($5,700 DK (Captain)/ $3,800 DK (Flex), $9,500 FD)

Gay makes for an intriguing cost-effective option if you're open to rolling with a kicker in at least one of your lineup spots. The third-year pro is coming off a regular season where he was true on 94.1 percent of his 34 field-goal attempts and where he missed just one of his 49 point-after tries. Gay has followed it up by going 7-for-9 on field goals and 9-for-9 on PATs in the postseason. Given the Bengals have allowed the third-lowest red-zone TD percentage on the road in the league (48.4 percent), including an elite 38.5 percent during the postseason, Gay could certainly get his fair share of field-goal tries in a stadium where he's gone 21-for-23 in that department since the start of the regular campaign.

Other Value Plays: Darrell Henderson ($2,400 DK (Captain)/ $1,600 DK (Flex), $8,000 FD) *currently on IR, designated to return*
