DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 1/19/22 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

TyTy Washington Jr. CBB DFS lineup picks NCAA daily fantasy college basketball

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy college basketball sleepers for 1/19/22. His CBB DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

We've got a nice Wednesday in store with 10 games on tap. We get started at 6:30 Eastern with Florida hosting Mississippi State. The action really picks up a half hour later with Alabama hosting LSU. Virginia Tech heads down to Raleigh to take on the Wolfpack. Wake heads down to Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech. Boston College is at Louisville. St. John's heads to Omaha to take on Creighton.

8 pm Eastern brings up TCU in Stillwater to take on the Cowboys. Marquette heads to Philly to take on Villanova. We finish the night with Kentucky down at College Station to take on the Aggies and Iowa heading to Piscataway to take on Rutgers. There may be "only" ten games, but there's a lot of star power!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/19/22 starting at noon eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Tyty Washington Jr, Kentucky ($8,800)

The top of the guard pool is loaded tonight, but Washington has a good matchup and has been really efficient of late. He has at least 44 DraftKings points in two of the last three games. Washington has been getting it done in different ways too. He piled up 17 assists against Georgia. It was three steals against Tennessee with 28 points. This wont be as high scoring of a game, but Washington's passing and defense give him a good floor in a guard pool with a lot of below average matchups.

Posh Alexander, St. John's ($8,000)

Yes, Creighton can be a tough matchup, but I don't mind using Posh. He has at least two steals in eight of the last ten games. In the last game against Georgetown, Posh only took four shots from the floor and still wound up with 46.5 DraftKings points. He had more assists, steals, and rebounds that shots from the floor. His defense and ability to get to the foul line makes him a play with a strong floor. Posh is probably better for cash games against a team like Creighton, but the way he is piling up peripheral stats, he's not a bad GPP play either.

Justin Moore, Villanova ($7,300)

Moore has four straight games with at least 34 DraftKings points. He is contributing in every category right now, not just scoring. Moore rebounds well and get to the line regularly. The assists are just a nice little bonus and go to show that he is still improving his game. the only thing I'm worried about here is a blowout, but Villanova has won two of those four games by 35 or more and Moore's stat lines didn't suffer. He's a great play at this price.

Eric Gaines, LSU ($5,700)

Alabama plays fast, so that should help to pace up LSU a little. Gaines had one of his better games of the season against Florida on Saturday with four assists, four steals, and six rebounds to go with his solid scoring numbers. However, I don't think that I'm to the point that I would trust Gaines if Xavier Pinson is back. Keep an eye on that situation. If Pinson is out, Gaines is way too cheap.

Ryan Nembhard, Creighton ($4,800)

It has been a rough January for the Blue Jays. After narrowly escaping Marquette on New Year's Day, they got blown out by Villanova and missed a game due to COVID before losing to Xavier. Finally the Jays get their first game back at the Birdcage since December 17 when they destroyed Villanova. Creighton is much better at home and Nembhard's price is still ridiculously low. The freshman picked up 34.5 DraftKings points for us against Xavier. He should get somewhere near that against St. John's.

Also consider: Dereon Seabron, North Carolina State ($9,200); Ron Harper Jr., Rutgers ($8,500); Sahvir Wheeler, Kentucky ($7,400); Dylan Addae-Wusu, St. John's ($6,800); Alex O'Connell, Creighton ($5,600); Phlandrous Fleming, Florida ($5,300); Geo Baker, Rutgers ($4,800)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Keegan Murray, Iowa ($9,400)

Tshiebwe's rebounding prowess always gives him the higher floor, but Murray is the Iowa offense. Aside from the foul-plagued game against Indiana, Murray has at least 40 DraftKings points in five of the last six games. He cleared 50 in three of those. If Murray can stay out of foul trouble, he could have his way against a smaller Rutgers team.

Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($8,000)

Kalkbrenner is a problem for opposing teams. He has 15 blocks over his last four games alone! In fact, Kalkbrenner has recorded at least five blocks in five of the last ten games. He is also a good rebounder and decent passer. I don't like paying this much for a guy who is mostly a defensive stalwart, but Kalkbrenner is still averaging a dozen points per game. He's a strong double-double threat along with all of those defensive stats.

Henry Coleman III, Texas A&M ($6,300)

The Aggies added Coleman to the starting lineup against Georgia in their first game of 2022 and haven't looked back. The Aggies have won all four games with Coleman scoring 120.5 DraftKings points in those four games. He has been a very efficient scorer and a force on the glass to help spark the Aggies winning streak to open SEC play. They are going to have problems with Kentucky, but Coleman's game is good enough for him to come through with another good performance at a very reasonable price.

Aaron Wheeler, St. John's ($4,400)

The Red Storm inserted Wheeler into the starting lineup after the restart to try and spark their team and it worked. They are 2-2 in January, but St. John's has averaged 76 points per game in January after hovering in the mid-60's before. That's not all because of Wheeler, but he has scored in double figures in three of his four starts and has been a defensive force. He has issues with fouls, but they need his energy in what will be a very loud crowd in Omaha. They haven't had a game here in over a month!

Arthur Kaluma, Creighton ($3,300)

Kaluma fouls too much and turns the ball over too much. That explains why his price is so low. However, he's a good shooter since he takes good shots and is a solid rebounder. He still spends between 25 and 30 minutes on the floor per game. We have seen Kaluma go over 20 DraftKings points a few times this year. This looks like a place where he can as well. At the very least, Kaluma provides a solid value floor even if there isn't much for upside.

Also consider: Oscar Tshiebwe, Kentucky ($9,500); Keve Aluma, Virginia Tech ($8,300); Garrison Brooks, Mississippi State ($6,600); Malik Williams, Louisville ($6,100); Clifford Omoruyi, Rutgers ($5,800); Filip Rebraca, Iowa ($4,700)
