ANALYSIS: It's been a rough rookie year for Seattle Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic, one of the top prospects in baseball coming into the year. However, he's starting to show signs of why we all fell in love with him when he first got the call in May, before he went on to slash .118/.211/.235 over his first 18 games in the majors.

The 22-year-old rookie has notched three multi-hit efforts over his last six games. Across the month of September as a whole, he's slashing .265/.324/.618 with six home runs, four doubles, two stolen bases, 15 RBI and 13 runs. While he was buried in the batting order during most of August and in early September, he's slowly started to move up. He hit fifth in the lineup in two of the team's last three games.

Now isn't the time of year to solely look for upside potential on the wire. Fantasy managers need players who are producing now, not ones who they can afford to be patient on. In Kelenic's case, he offers a bit of both worlds as he has enormous potential and he's just now starting to show signs of it in the majors for the first time. He should be a mainstay in the Mariners' lineup as they continue to make a run at the AL Wild Card. He's worth adding for all fantasy managers in need of an outfielder for the final week and a half of the year.
