Bills Release Jake Kumerow
Jake Kumerow on Thursday. Kumerow signed with the Bills practice squad after spending the last two seasons in Green Bay. The 28-year-old caught his only pass in six games with Buffalo in the Week 15 win over the Broncos, and it went for 22 yards and a touchdown. In his three seasons in the NFL, Kumerow has 21 receptions on 33 targets for 344 yards and three touchdowns in 25 games played (six starts). He'll try to latch on with another team as wide receiver depth, but he can obviously be ignored for fantasy purposes. Kumerow's release probably means that John Brown will be activated from Injured Reserve in order to play against the Patriots on Monday night.
