Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers - MLB Hitter, Pitcher Lineup Picks for Monday 8/10

Top daily fantasy baseball streamers and waiver wire adds for 8/10/20. Frank Ammirante identifies MLB hitters and starting pitchers to stream based on matchups.

We're on to Week Three of this wild shortened season. If you have gotten off to a slow start, the time to act is now! You need to dig deep and find some strong matchups to get back into contention. Luckily, this article will help you get back on track.

When choosing my daily hitter streamers, I examine their platoon splits, lineup position, and pitching matchup. With pitchers, I account for the opposing lineup, team ballpark, and recent performance to help make my decision.

Each of my streamers will be rostered in between 0-40% of Yahoo leagues, with a mixed focus on both shallow and deeper formats. Today, I will be providing a streamer for each position, including two starting pitchers. Let’s take a look at the Monday slate and dig out some streamer gems to help you start off the week with a bang!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

Hitter Streamers for 8/10 - Infielders

Isiah Kiner-Falefa (C/3B, TEX, RHB) 32% Rostered

Matchup: vs. SEA RHP Justin Dunn

Kiner-Falefa has hit safely in seven straight games. He already has four stolen bases on this season, which is a huge number for a catcher. This is a good matchup against Dunn, who has walked seven hitters while only striking out six in his two starts.

Howie Kendrick (1B/2B/3B, WAS, RHB) 41% Rostered

Matchup: vs. NYM LHP Steven Matz

Kendrick is one of my favorite players to stream whenever he faces a lefty. This is a guy who slashed .376/.421/.615 against lefties last year. In his last meeting against Matz last week, Kendrick went 4-4 with a home run. He's a top streaming option for tomorrow.

Jonathan Schoop (2B, DET, RHB) 12% Rostered

Matchup: vs. CHW LHP Dallas Keuchel

Schoop has slashed .364/.308/.727 against lefties this season. He's been swinging a hot bat lately, with 3 HR in his last ten games. He goes up against Keuchel, who is always prone to a blow-up because of his lack of strikeout ability. This is an exploitable matchup for Schoop.

Yandy Diaz (1B/3B, TB, RHB) 19% Rostered

Matchup: vs. BOS LHP Martin Perez

Diaz still hasn't gone yard this season, but he has a great chance here against a southpaw at Fenway. He has ten walks to seven strikeouts, so he's clearly seeing the ball well. It's only a matter of time before he has a breakout game. Bet on it here against the beatable Perez.

Niko Goodrum (1B/2B/SS/OF, DET, SHB) - 15% Rostered

Matchup: vs. CHW LHP Dallas Keuchel

Goodrum is another great play whenever he faces a lefty - he posted a .361/.411/.515 against southpaws last season. He makes for a nice pairing with Schoop, as the two hitters usually bat one and two in the Tigers' lineup. Goodrum should get back in the hit column against Keuchel.

Hitter Streamers for 8/10 - Outfielders

Matt Kemp (OF, COL, RHB) - 9% Rostered

Matchup: vs. ARZ LHP Robbie Ray

Kemp has become a fantastic play whenever he faces a lefty at Coors Field. He's slashing .300/.364/.650 at home and .308/.438/.462 against southpaws. He gets a great matchup against Ray, who has been disastrous this season - in his last start, he allowed three home runs against the Astros.

Jose Martinez (OF, TB, RHB) - 5% Rostered

Matchup: vs. BOS LHP Martin Perez

Martinez is slowly starting to get hot, hitting safely in his last four games. The Rays' acquired him because he hits lefties well, so this is a good spot to stream him against Perez at Fenway. He makes for a nice pairing with Diaz. I think Martinez will go yard here.

Chris Owings (2B/3B/SS/OF, COL, RHB) 3% Rostered

Matchup: vs. ARZ LHP Robbie Ray

Like teammate Kemp, Owings is a good option to stream whenever he faces a lefty at Coors. He's slashing .389/.450/.611 at home so far this season. Let's take advantage of Ray with another Rockie here. Owings has a good chance to provide solid production in this one.

Pitcher Streamers for 8/10

Randy Dobnak (RHP, MIN) @ MIL - 33% Rostered

Dobnak has been one of the surprises of the season so far, allowing only one earned run in 15 innings in three starts. He takes on a Brewers' team that has been recently shut down by righties like Anthony DeSclafani and Trevor Bauer. Dobnak is inducing grounders at a high rate with a 68.2 GB%. Let's ride the wave and hope he keeps it up here.

Kyle Gibson (RHP, TEX) vs. SEA 12% Rostered

Gibson is the latest reclamation project taken on by the Rangers. He's coming off a solid start against the A's, where he went six innings, allowing four hits for three earned runs while walking two and striking out nine. Gibson has a great matchup here against the Mariners, who have scored only 22 runs in their last nine games (2.44 per game).
