Counter Strike: Global Offensive DFS Picks for 4/10/20 - DraftKings Daily Fantasy Sports

Jorge Pucks' DraftKings DFS lineup picks for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on 4/10/20. He analyzes CS: GO slates and his top targets for ESports DFS contests.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS picks! If you are reading this, you must be missing sports quite a bit but have found solace in DFS ESports! For those that are new to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS set up, don't worry I got your back!

If you need a quick refresher, here you go. You have teams of five and the objective is to plant a bomb while the other team defends. It’s a pretty simple objective so let’s not try to over-analyze things! There are 30 rounds per match (the first to win 16 rounds takes the match) and they play best two out of three. There is no respawning so once you die, you are gone till the next round so kill-to-death ratios are very important to look at it when crafting your roster.

Today I'll be bringing you my Counter-Strike: Global Offensive DFS advice, analysis and picks for ESports DFS contests on DraftKings Friday, April 10th, 2020 at 1:00 PM. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @rdr1634.

Friday's Games: ESL

  • Havu -275 vs. Chaos +205
  • Liquid +185 vs. Evil Geniuses -240
  • MIBR -315 vs. Orgless +246

DFS Captain Considerations

ELige will be forced to bring his A-game tomorrow if Liquid has any intention of upsetting Evil Geniuses. He has been one of the best players in the North America ESL Pro League as he has averaged a 1.25 K/D ratio over the last month and has a 48.9% headshot percentage.

For his career, he has had a 49.1% headshot percentage and has a 1.11 K/D ratio so he has been consistent but also over performing as well! In his last 8 maps against Evil Geniuses, he has had a 1.29 K/D ratio and when factoring his price in, he looks to be one of the best overall players and values on the slate while being in a competitive match.

SLowi has been in great form recently as he has posted a 1.23 K/D ratio over the last month while also having a 55.9% headshot percentage. He has a career 1.02 K/D ratio against Chaos and that is over the span of 10 maps played. SLowi has gone plus in all six of his last matches and has gone for 40+ kills on five of them.

While his historical numbers against Chaos don’t look great, he has been playing fantastically over the last month and would be a great candidate for those MVP/ Captain spots.

FalleN is a good tournament play since he has shown to have a high ceiling with his 123 DK point game last week.  He has a 1.16 K/D ratio over the last month and only has a 30.9% headshot percentage. In the one game that he played against Orgless, he racked up a 1.16 K/D ratio and 73 Dk points so he brings a solid floor into this matchup.

MIBR looks to be the big favorites against Orgless so if you think MIBR will steamroll Orgless then you better look at having FalleN in several of your lines!

WARDELL is my true value pick for the extra point bonus slots. He is sporting a 1.28 K/D ratio over the last month while having a low headshot percentage of 34.4%. WARDELL is averaging 67.1 DK points per game and has eclipsed the 80 point mark in two out of his four recorded games.

In those four games,  he has racked up 40+ kills and has 3 games where he went for double-digit assists as well. WARDELL is the best value on this slate and with it being a competitive game, it should bring the best out of him.

DFS Value Plays

CeRq is drastically underpriced at just $6,600 on DK. He has three straight games of going for 50+ kills while recording 50+ DK points in five straight games. CeRq has a 1.08 K/D ratio over the past month and over the last 12 months, he has posted a 1312 K/D ratio against Liquid. With his history against them and recent play, CeRq looks to be one of the overall better value on the slate.

Infinite could be a good tournament play especially if you are looking at using someone other than WARDELL. He is priced under 6k on DK and has a headshot percentage of 45.9%. He has a K/D ratio of 1.04 over the last month but in his most recent performance last month against MIBR, he went for 61 DK points and ranked up 42 kills and 14 assists. The downside for Infinite is that he dies quite a bit but that usually gets offset with his high assist total (double-digit assists in his last four games).

Top DFS Stacks

Havu is one of the tougher stacks to fit in on DK due to the high pricing on sLowi, doto, and ZOREE. All of them are over $8,600 on DK and all have high upside. Each of them has put up over 100 DK points in one of their last two games played so they are viable in both cash and tournament games.

Havu has won four out of their last five games and has won three games straight while Chaos has dropped three straight games and has lost four out of their last five. It might be difficult to get all three guys into your line so it might be best to resort to a two-man stack using sLowi and then choosing either doto or ZOREE.

Orgless (a little risky here) heads into the match against MIBR as underdogs but something is telling me that they can pull off the upset. MIBR suffered a 2-0 loss to Furia on Thursday and even though MIBR swept Orgless in their most recent meeting, Orgless has some pieces on their squad that can go off and lead them to a win. The pricing is relatively soft on the Orgless side of things so they help open things up from a roster construction standpoint.

While I spoke of WARDELL and Infinite above, another guy to consider from Orgless is Subroza. Over the last three months, he has had a 1.08 K/D ratio while having a 50.3% headshot percentage. I advise you to hedge this stack with a MIBR stack just in case this risky stack flops and MIBR goes 2-0 again. If you do go that way FalleN and Fer would be the places to start.

FanDuel ESports DFS Contests

FanDuel has now added CSGO to their contest offerings but we are unsure of when they will be posting contests.

Some big differences on FanDuel are that you have a team slot, so make sure you choose teams that have upside but can also lock in the win. In addition, they give points for headshots which is something I will include in future articles when looking at players.

This article was written for DraftKings so if you have any questions about FD plays, please reach out to me on Twitter and I will be happy to answer!
