DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (7/20/19): MLB DFS Lineups

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on July 20th, 2019. Ben Rolfe's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

Saturday sees another split slate, but once again with a heavy lean towards the evening. The 10 game slate in the evening is the featured slate on DraftKings and s therefore where our attentions will fall.

The Dodgers are absolutely massive favorites on this slate against the Marlins, but Clayton Kershaw is always an expensive option. The second-biggest favorite being Boston is somewhat hard to trust with Rick Porcello on the mound, especially when that game also has the highest total on the slate. In fact, four of the 10 games have totals over 10, so there are plenty of good options on the hitting side of things today.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 7/20/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. Be sure to also check out all the Vegas Odds for today's slate. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @benrolfe15.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers

Jose Berrios, MIN (vs. OAK) - $9,700

It has been a pretty impressive season for Berrios with a 3.10 ERA, and 110 strikeouts in 122 innings. He has also been better at home this season, averaging 22.8 fantasy points per outing in those home games. Oakland is not the easiest matchup, as they rank sixth in home runs and ninth in slugging. However, this price presents plenty of opportunity for upside, and is one of the best available on this slate.

Anibal Sanchez, WAS (@ ATL) - $8,000

Sanchez has been super solid this season, with a 3.71 ERA and 77 strikeouts in 89 2/3 innings. This is not an easy matchup in Atlanta, but there is expected to be some rain around, which should suit pitching. This slate is extremely top-heavy when it comes to pitching, with lots of question choices lower down. Of those lower-end options Sanchez is the one with the most upside, even if that upside is limited by his strikeout numbers a little.

DraftKings DFS Infielders

C - Brian McCann, ATL (vs. WAS) - $3,400

I just like the value here with McCann and therefore, despite the expected pitcher-friendly conditions he is the pick at catcher. All eight of his home runs have come off right-handed pitchers, giving him a .196 ISO and a .343 wOBA.

1B - Daniel Vogelbach, SEA (vs. LAA) - $3,900

At this price, this was an easy decision. Vogelbach has obliterated right-handed pitchers this season, with 21 of his 23 home runs coming against them. With righties on the mound, he has a .272 batting average, .326 ISO, and a .415 wOBA.

2B - Ketel Marte, ARI (vs. MIL) - $4,800

This is a horrible position on this slate. Both of the best expensive options (Marte and Max Muncy) have their struggles at home, and my gamble option is ice cold has missed the last two games with injury (Derek Dietrich). I have gone with Marte because despite being worse at home he still has a .211 ISO and a .371 wOBA. He also has a .295 ISO and a .390 wOBA against left-handed pitchers.

3B - Mike Moustakas, MIL (@ ARI) - $4,200

Going against Zach Greinke is not ideal, but Moustakas is a solid price and has plenty of upside. He has 17 home runs, .269 batting average, .282 ISO and a .367 wOBA.

SS - Corey Seager, LAD (vs. MIA) - $3,800

Seager is not long back from injury, but his numbers against right-handed pitchers when he has been on the field are solid. He has seven of his eight home runs, with a .298 batting average, .234 ISO and a .377 wOBA. He has also been successful at home, with a career .224 ISO and a .371 wOBA.

DraftKings DFS Outfielders

Nelson Cruz, MIN (vs. OAK) - $4,500

Cruz has been super solid this season against left-handed pitchers. Six home runs and three doubles in 59 AB have left him with a .356 ISO and a .392 wOBA. This is a decent price for someone with those numbers.

Trey Mancini, BAL (vs. BOS) - $4,300

Mancini, at home where he has 11 of his 19 home runs, against a struggling Rick Porcello is hard to pass up. His .235 ISO and a .354 wOBA against right-handed pitchers is not great, but the temperature in Baltimore will be roasting hot and the wind is expected to be blowing out to center field, which should benefit hitters.

Joc Pederson, LAD (vs. MIA) - $4,200

I have made this point plenty this season, but Pederson has all 21 of his home runs against right-handed pitchers. Against righties, he has a .304 ISO and a .370 wOBA, which is only bettered by a .370 ISO and a .386 wOBA.
